Patti's voice along with Minnie Ripperton's were the only two voices besides Phylis Hyman's that could evoke pure emotion in me. Say you love me was my favorite song by Patti, and it still takes me back to my first love days so long ago.

My understanding is that this whole album is great. The title song features a guest solo by the legendary Jerry Butler. "In My Life" as well as "Say You Love Me" are both remakes from her "End of the Rainbow" album.

Patti certainly showcases her georgeous locks on the cover! She's always been a beautiful woman, even before she lost the weight.

Excellent remake of the 1976 version from Patti's debut album "End of the Rainbow." Unfortunately, the "In My Life" album was overshadowed by the success of "Baby Come to Me/Every Home Should Have One," which had been released two years prior.

@soap1919jt Actually I believe what happened was - CTI Records tried to capitalize on Patti's 'Baby, Come To Me' success on Quincy Jones' Qwest Records & compiled some of her CTI moments on 'In My Life'. Not sure the artist was too involved at all. Some1 should upload her best version ever of 'Iko, Iko'. People just don't know all Patti has done/CAN DO! : )
