What Stern was saying was that it's one thing for players to try to draw a foul, move around, whatever. What Kobe does is the second he feels contact behind his arm, he swats his arm backwards in a direction that leads him to hit people in the face with his backhand or arm. He does this intentionally, it's obvious because he does it CONSTANTLY. You can't claim it's accidental. He feels someone behind him, and he does a no-look swing up and back, so he can act like he didn't mean to hit them.

When the defender are pushing the envelope on how much space he's allowing the offensive players, and sticking out his limb in offensive players shooting motion does that mean you have to give up your space if refs are not calling it? Granted player on offensive are allowed great deal of freedom, but still when a defender is being overly physical with you and not getting call for it, you have to force the refs to call either way or soon enough youll have defender walk all over you.

If you are too young to remember Worthy play it's a shame. Lightning fast in the paint and almost effortless looking movement, never an ounce of energy wasted. I loves his dunks, he swooped in so fast with his hand just high enough to put the ball through. He almost never got any hard fouls on him. You had to catch him first and almost nobody ever did.
