@Roelf I think Liesle Els is from Stellenbosch and Ernie has his wine estate there. The golf is even better than the wine, I was booked to play Stellenbosch G.C but I stayed at Spier estate and although it was great, the beds were poor and I woke with an aggravated back injury. I played Steenberg though while I was staying in Cape Town. Can you recommend any courses for next time ? Thought I might spend more time there next xmas.
@robbieflub Erivale in Somerset West is a great championship course. Arabella (about 40 minutes away) is one of the top 5 courses in South Africa. Royal Cape is also good.
I wish they would bring back the police van and remove yellers and the like.
