The lady at 3:39-4:14 is absolute truth. I totally support Parsis marrying fellow Parsis only. The moved to India to keep their ethncicty and religion alive, not to mix with Indians...otherwise, they might as well have remained in Iran during the Arab invasion years. Dear Parsis, please keep your culture, religion and customs alive. This coming from a Kashmiri Brahmin Indian:)
When the Persians tribes were trying to get away from Islamic rule, some went to India ,,and the story gos like this ,,,the Persian king asked the Indian king if the Persians could take refuge in India, they were sitting, drinking tea and chatting.
The Indian king said ,"But you are Persians and we are Indian,we are deferent"
The Persian king picked up some sugar and put it in his tea cup and said dear king we Persians will be like the sugar in this tea,we will mix in and make India "sweeter".
theirs a differnce sister.....THE FILTHY MOGULS WERE NOT WELCOME..indians resisted islamic occupation for 400 years untill islam was defeated in india..
the parsi were welcome in india to flee the islamic tyranny.
I am a Knanyna Catholic (Jewish Descent) from Kerala....we practice endogamy but the youth are suffering from the same problem...marrying outsiders....but its inevitable!
