I do not know, but Vitas do not need air to sing or to breath. He is not from this planet. look at before and after 2:51 - 3:07 after 16 seconds of holding the notes he does not seems to breath. His chest does not move at all. I always cheque his breathing to see how he does it and always amazes me.
@MiNennuka exactly, in other videos he gets away with it by possibly taking a breath in between, same with Jamaica's 30 second note, but here you can see he doesn't breath!
