Denknee, and @60child, I'm pretty sure the guy on Laura's left is Charlie Calello, the arrangeer of Eli & The 13th Confession, & Smile. Sure looks like him to me, and it would make sense in terms of time, place, etc.
@JigsawCaptain I dunno, Jiggie. I checked the Charles Calello website (his name, plus "dot com") and most of the pictures there are more recent, but it just doesn't look enough like Charlie to me. But.. who knows? You could be right.
@60schld The guy on the left is unknown (someone seems to think he may have been a Columbia staff photographer), but the man on the right is definitely Clive Davis.
