This ride totally blew me away. I couldn't work out how we were going to get the experience when we first sat in our seats. I had no idea how it would work. We are here now and rode this two days ago. We are going back to Epcot on Monday JUST to ride this again - and hopefully have a front row seat, high up with no one else's feet obstructing our view.
Brilliant how we could 'smell' the pine trees as we flew overhead! The wind was in our hair - we were 'Soarin'
The seniors at my school left for Disney early this morning! They're spending the while week in Disney! I wish Freshmens were able to go! Last year, my class went to Hershey and it wasn't fun!

Omg I remember this ride! It really feels like your in the air hand gliding lol I miss it but, I think I lost a giant glasses lense here :( but, man I sooo remember that game in the beginning that stalls us till we get to the ride, Mann good times!!
@monkeygirlz909 You are lifted, but you don't actually go into the sky. What happens is that you sit down on flat ground, then once everything's ready, you fly up into an IMAX screen.
no ypu dont go in the sky... its sort of like a fligh simulator... but its really cool... i did it like 3 times... and everytime it feelt a lot nicer than the first one =)
You don't have to Call her retarded. Who knows, you could actually do it. It would be hell to pay the price to do it, but you could still do it.
Anyway, you just sit in a row of seats, then it lifts you up so you're surrounded by an IMAX screen. Then it just plays a video of all the main places in California, it makes you feel like your flying. Its a really cool ride. :D

Ok, the ride is called soarin' over california, even though they just call it Soarin' at Epcot, it is the same video and all about California. That kid said New York City when it was downtown Los Angeles. They need to give it the full name, since people don't have a clue what they're flying over.
