when that eathquake happend in va i was putting my hand up in my toy box wen i felt the kitchen shaking at first i thought it was my little cousin jumping upstairs intil my mom and grandma came and said EARTHQUAKE!!!!!!! my mom was crying my grandma pulled me outside and my aunt took my cousin oy to the street just incase something fell on our heads pluzs my dog lucky was crying b4 the earthquake happend so it was like he knew it was going to happend it came 10mins after i got home
u feel that shit. yess i do. ive never felt an earthquake before. yes u have. really?? yes in glentswort(<-----i think tats wat she said) oh......ctfu she fucking told u hahaha
I am in Cali and we have bigger ones than that, I totally understand how scared they are because DC isnt used to having them... I wonder how many people thought it was a bomb or some shit like that lol
@GeekTechMac1 Yah my family lives a few miles from dulles international airport in northern virginia. At first they thought a plane might have crashed. I myself have never experienced an earthquake. I was closer to the epicenter then they were, but I was driving on the highway so I didn't feel a thing.
When I was in my room, i felt my bed to shake. I thought it was my dog because she tends to 'run' in her sleep while laying down...so i was like "JET!" But she was outside....I got up, and my room was shaking. I legit thought she was shaking my room...I had a blonde moment that day...
My computer desk was shking. I watch alot of nature stuff and i kinda knew what was happening but jus scared so i jumped down my steps nd started cry!
haha, we just had 2 earthquakes today here in the s.f. bay area of Ca.: one was a few hours ago & it was a 4.0 & another one about half an hour ago that was 4.2. The one that just happened almost knocked me off my chair while I am trying to eat. Oh, well, just ignore it & keep eating. Ahh, California life. You just gotta get used to the quakes!
@SteveHenry86 ya check out the one about power wheels with subs, the one with white kids... no racist comments, well I don't have to tell you about the black kids with custom power wheels...
It’s not like a natural earthquake, where you have pre-shocks. It was just suddenly huge, and then it started fading down.In the seismic charst, it will looks like a big line all of a sudden appearing, and then a smaller line afterwards, there is no buildup, as you would find in a natural earthquake. I suggest you do some research : at divinecosmos in davi´s blog
I've felt numerous quakes like this. The crack of a foundation, stuff swinging. No biggy until one day I snatched up my toddler nephews and vaulted for doorway. But another day, people were killed. I felt a good one in Seattle and I looked at the people in the cafe, amazed that nobody noticed. And so help me, I definitly felt the Japan earthquake when I was in Idaho. No foolin.
@D3ADCR4P SORRY WE DONT LIVE IN A STATE THAT OPENS UP LIKE A WHORE EVERY DAY. NEXT TIME MY ENTIRE STATE SHAKES ILL JUST THINK, "OH THATS NOTHING, CALIFORNIA HAS EARTHQUAKES, THAT MUSTVE BEEN GOD CUTTING A FART. but yeah asshole that was an earthquake, sorry we arent siesmic veterans like you californians.
as a californian i think i should be used to earthquakes... BUT!! im hella scared of them lol... its the worst feeling... but then i start cracking up once its over hahaha
@Dawitness11 I do hope you realize that this area that was affected experienced minor damage at best, if you want to spread religious propaganda, at least do it on videos of more serious earthquakes and natural phenomena. KTHXBY
@Dawitness11 THERES PLENTY OF TIME!! He told me all about at are bowling league over some miller high lifes:) He also ask if people would stop using his name to inflect there will and believes on others?!
@animation508 oh shut the fuck up, you think your hot shit because you live in cali? its a big deal because we dont have earthquakes. your fucking retarded, go die in a hurricane.
@makemepretty123 you, my friend are the definition of retarded. I said that in relation to the east coast doesn't get earthquakes. Please get a high school education before talking to me again.
@bigplayer2382 no you didn't, that's bullshit. If you wanted the statement in context to the east coast it should've been clear. Trust me, your comment was no where near clear. You seem to have a bit of an anger problem, bro. I would hire a psychologist or therapist if I were you.
@animation508 everyone in the infantry has anger problems. go fuck yourself, and its pretty fucking stupid to think the west coast gets hurricanes, if you dont see the irony in the fucking statement your retarded. because you make it seem like "oh they think they nearly died when it was nothing" but we never get earthquakes.. hence why its a big deal. Hurricanes are developed by the warm water on top of the water mixed with the currents and winds. and where you live is NOT important for context.
@bigplayer2382 ok, buddy, first off I don't know your background. I'm a civy so lay the fuck off. Secondly, it's you're, not your. If YOU'RE gonna call me a retard, at least use the correct form of YOU'RE. Now, on to the rest, where I live is important for context of my comment, in which I found their reactions amusing. They reacted in a stunned way, that was nearly emotionless til the end which I found funny as, in california, the reaction to an earthquake is starkly different.
@animation508 jesus christ, people still do the whole "correct your grammar thing". Please grow up, its fuckin youtube, im not going to be writing an essay to you. Also that comeback never helps you win any type of argument... and i find it funny how your like "im a civvy lay off" then you flip shit about grammar. Please I have more things to worry about then the "you are" contraction.
@bigplayer2382 you just told someone who lives in california to die in a hurricane so i just thought i should inform you that california does not get those. :)
@makemepretty123 and i just thought i would inform you that your obviously not old enough to understand the irony in the statement. When was the last time the east coast had an earthquake... when was the last time cali had a hurricane. Point proven. Granted earthquakes have happened on the east coast, but not anywhere near often enough to be made note of.
@bigplayer2382 wow, dude, wow. This is so unwarranted. First of all "[I] think [I'm] hot shit because [I] live in california?" no, in fact I don't, but it is important for context. Secondly, I never said it wasn't a big deal, I said I thought their reactions were funny - those are two entirely separate things. Lastly, we don't get hurricanes in california. Do your research :P
@animation508 It'll always be scarier for people on the East Coast. One, because we don't ever have drills or training about what to do in an earthquake besides getting in a doorway. Two, because buildings are generally older on the East Coast and have a much higher chance of collapse. I know it was a disaster for San Francisco during the 89' quake, but if it happened in NY or DC it would have been a complete catastrophe with tens of thousands dead with major damage throughout the North East.
