Nice fish & nice kayak too. I'd like to see Jackson come out with a stable lake boat like this with a mounting block molded in on the rear for a trolling motor. Maybe a trolling motor too, designed to steer with the foot pedals with a forward/reverse and throttle lever on the wall next to the seat. That would be awesome for windy days on lakes and for us folks who are not in tip top shape, with a bad shoulder, arthritis etc.
Hey Drew was wondering where abouts up here in the North you were when you hit on the Pike.Do you head up this way often and if so do you take part in any tourneys when you do.Thanks
@CRFmxracer@CRFmxracer Those are actually River Bassin Rods. You can only order them through RiverBassin through our rod builder but they are great cause they float and have micro guides to help make them weigh only 3oz.
NIce, with that seat so high how is the stability, I know when i rig my native the way you do with the seat up on top its real shaky and takes some getting use to. Is the jackson kayak sort of the same, are is it much more stable. I have to admit at first I didn't care much for this kayak but the more i see you fishing in it I can start to see how stable it is and the more I like it.
@Guy23HD The seat in the Coosa can be put in either the high or low position and takes only 2 seconds to switch so if you don't like it high you can still use it low like a traditional sit-on-top kayak. However, I can tell you that over 100 people have tested the prototypes of the Coosa and only 2 said they felt more comfortable down low. All the rest wanted to sit up high once they realized how comfortable it was.
The boat was built for standing and fishing so the high seat is still stable.
