  • I'm excited to try this one! I've seen it several times and thought it would be a good start and now I have you to help me along! I'm stupidly giddy right now, lol. They better still have this in stock when I go looking! 8)

  • @shyanha lol. Yea, its a great project to start with. Have fun and let me know how it turns out for you. :o)

  • i would like to get that pattern plez because im a biginner and i want to have that so my mom can buy it but i hve 2 try it thank u

  • @aao4o I included a link to where you can buy the pattern in the description box of this video. Hope that helps.

  • I had to check back to see if you made any current vids since the new baby! (she's adorable! and I know how it can be I have 3 and nursed them all!) Glad you are still posting these vids for newbies like me!

  • @chinewmarie No problem! I posted Part 2 already and I'm editing Part 3 right now so look for it in the next few days. The baby is sleeping now but I often find myself NAK (nursing at keyboard). Thank goodness for Boppy pillows! I don't know what I would do without ours. :o)

  • Oh wow I am so excited, this is something I have been wanting to do for a long time, I just had no idea how to read them Lol. Cant wait to do this with you ;~D

  • thank you, this is so helpful!

  • Great video. I've learned so much already. Is there a part two to this or are we in the 'having a baby' stage? ;) Big congrats, what a doll.

    Looking forward to it.

  • @bigcaat I'm working on Part 2... coming soon! Just starting to get back in the swing of things,. Thanks!

  • Well. I am all set. Every thing is cut and pinned and ready to go!. I am guessing You are kinda busy having that baby so I hope all is well and please take good care of your beautiful self. I send live to you and your family. Specially for your newborn. How so very special a newborn is. See ya!!!

  • Hi Vanessa, Your looking really good for being so pregnant. you must be so uncomfortable.

to answer the question . I cam read the patterns its the fabric I have a problem with I don't know what is what when it comes to picking the material out then laying it out sometimes is not fun . so I just go buy something at the store but now I'm going to sew with you thank so much for doing this for all of us.:)

  • I am ready to go!!! I have all my fabric and pattern and all notions.. Heads up folks be sure to go ahead and wash your fabric and iron out your pattern with a warm iron, NO STEAM, so that you get all those annoying wrinkles out. I may go ahead and atleast cut the pattern out. I think I can manage that, giggle giggle...

  • I am real excited to follow this tutorial. Would you consider showing in the future how to make a costume skirt out of tulle. I know there are tons on YT but I just am leary. I plan to go out today to get my supplies!!!

  • Commercial patterns even if they say beginner are not really all that easy for people just learning to sew. I think the reason is they havent changed since they started making them ages ago. Now remember my mother and her grandmother etc were all taught how to sew. Whether that was a class in school or by their own mother hence they knew the basics of sewing. Now-a-days they dont teach sewing anymore and your mother doesnt teach you so trying to understand even the beginner pattern is very hard.

  • This is just what I need! Vanessa, you are so very good at explaining things! I wish I had that ability. Thanks for the video!

  • Your welcome. Take care of yourself and the precious little one, soon to arrive.

Many blessings to both of you.

  • Hey Vanessa. How r u ? Just wanted to know when you will start the sewing series. Just wanted to be prepared lol

  • @craftymom7 Hey! I'm doing okay.. just ready for the baby to decide to come out an play. It all depends on her when I will get settled enough to work on the next video. I'll keep you all posted via the Crafty Gemini facebook page. Thanks!

  • Thank you, Vanessa! I am not intimidated, I used to sew. I just feel it was so-so long time ago, that any tutorial will help to bring my memory back.

    ~ Iryna

  • Somewhat intimidated. Depends on the pattern.

  • I'm a bit intimidated. I'm always scared that I will cut something I shouldn't be cutting. Also having to transfer all the markings on the pattern to fabric is somewhat time consuming.

  • I'm somewhat intimidated by commercial patterns. I am a BBW and have to nearly remake a pattern before I can use it. It's VERY frustrating! Once I've re-sized everything, I'm at a loss for how much fabric and notions I will need for the project. {sigh}. You're doing a great job, but I have one request ... please speak a little slower. You have a wonderful presence and are very knowledgeable. Keep up the good work!

  • I'm intimidated by commercial patterns, because of all the directions and terms used to describe the pattern and how to do it. This video was extremely helpful! I really want to make clothes and become a designer but my mom is SO right when she says I need a pattern to start with :D! It's funny because I was just talking about making PJ's for everyone for Christmas :D.Thank you for posting and explaining in detail, look forward to watching next week!

  • I really need this series. I have my machine set up. Hopefully going to purchase the material this weekend. Yay I will be jumping up and down if I could complete a garment , to wear. That has been the source of anxiety. I always think I will wear it and it will fall apart. :(

  • I am a little intimidated because I feel like Im such a begginer it can be confusing, there is a lot to it. I really appreciate your explanation of everything, I think its very helpful. Im a slow learner as well & I think sometimes I just need patience and to go over things more than once. Ive tried a pattern before, but it was in school with a lot of help from the teacher :) So thank you for this series, Im sure it will help me to try again!

  • I've always seen these commercial patterns at Walmart and I always wanted to purchase them but with no experience in sewing I thought it would be...

    1. A waist of time trying to figure out where to begin

    2. A hassle trying to understand how to sew and measure everything

    3. It would be a waist of money for me after all the frustration.

But I'm so glad your doing this, because now it's going to be less frustrating. Once I understandCommercial patterns and sewing will be a thing of the past for me.

  • I take a fashion class at Art and Design Highschool.

They taught us about hand sewing a different hems. They always told me when I'm tailoring for a specific size to always hand sew it before running it on a machine.I'm not scared of commercial patterns, since I did you one to great a nice victorian inspired bustle skirt for a freind.I also made a kimono top, and pleated skirts. I think with a pattern, and a little common sense its the eaistist thing.

  • I sew!

I am just intimidated by patterns because I don't understand them. I am SO thankful for this video!! What an eye opener. hank you for caring to do this for us out there who would like to but do not know how!

I love to sew, this will take me to more heights with my sewing.

    Looking forward to next week!

    Thank you

  • Yes, I am intimidated by patterns! I recently became a stay-at-home mom after running businesses for 25 years. Between trying to learn how to sew and trying to learn how to can vegetables, I told my husband that it was easier to run businesses! I followed the link here from Craft Gossip and have to say that you've explained things very well in your tutorial and I am happy to be a new subscriber. If I win this patter, I will be counting on your tutorial for help! :)

  • I am new to sewing...again! Children grown and raised. Made all of their infant/toddler clothing. When I started sewing for myself, I was always frustrated due to finished patterns not fitting correctly. Thanks for teaching an old dog new tricks! Looking forward to the entire series!!!

  • Thanks!! This video was soooooo helpful!

  • I normally just make my own patterns or use your tutorials:) no commercial patterns but I would love to try!

  • My past disasters have taught me caution, my successes have taught me to persevere... but I'm often worried that some of the knowledge the pattern-makers take for granted, but I do not know, is where my sewing dreams will come undone and instead I'll have wasted fabric ($) and time on something that disappoints.

  • Oh my! Yes, I'm so intimidated by those commercial patterns! I rarely ever even try. I usually make up my own patterns or watch a tutorial. Most of the time you can find me sewing purses, baby bibs, & burp cloths. I love to sew and creating. Looking forward to watching your other parts to this series. Thanks for your excellent work.

  • I am so afraid of commercial patterns! I'm new to sewing and I find trying to make something with one is near impossible without taking a class first. I find using an online picture tutorial or video one is way easier! Thanks so much for taking the time to explain everything!

  • Yes, I am intimidated, even though I have years of sewing experience. I do great with home decor, quilting and bags; however, garments really SCARE me. I'm always afraid I will put all that work into a garment and then it will look bad on me or not fit. I'm going to try these pants along with you.

  • I am not intimidated at all. I bought a bolt of muslin fabric from JoAnns when they had it cheap. Whenever I am trying a pattern I am unsure of for any reason (and there have been many reasons... from fabric choice, I don't always listen to the suggested fabrics, to size and so on) I make it out of muslin. If it doesn't fit or work I am out of time more than money and if it does fit well I color it with Kool-Aid dye. I should say I sew for my kids more than I do myself.

  • I'm still initmidated by commercial sewing patterns. I'm a plus size person and have yet to try a pattern that claims to be designed for a full figured woman but does not fit or look right when it is made. The stuff I have made for everyone else fits, I even made an outfit for a friend of mine in another country who I have never seen in person and it fit them well.

  • I was intimidated at first as well, when I started sewing years ago. But I found that I wasn't really "reading" the instructions. I wanted to just breeze through, kind of scanning the text, once I slowed down and actually read the instructions, I made many successful projects. Even though I've been sewing for years, I haven't been back at the machine for a while and your videos have inspired me to "dive" back into sewing and get creative again! Thanks!

  • I am intimidated because I am barely starting to learn to sew! I am so happy you have started these series! I have my brand new sewing machine and I am ready! Thank you so much!

  • Yes, they intimidate me! I am not sure if I am doing it right!

  • No, I'm not imtimidated, but it seems to be a guessing game as to whether the measurements given on the pattern result in a garment that actually make into a garment that fits well. I've sewn for 45+ years and almost always need to make adjustments in leg length, shoulder width, etc.

  • I am intimidated because I've made several different skirt or pants patterns and they come out a size too large even though I use the sizing guide on the pattern and it matches my measurements....very frustrating!

  • I am intimidated because I've made several different skirt or pants patterns and they come out a size too large even though I use the sizing guide on the pattern and it matches my measurements....very frustrating!

  • Yes, I really am intimidated by commercial patterns. Never bought any and I'm afraid there won't be any "step by step" instruction like a tutorial. Since I've never taken any courses in sewing or I don't know anyone who sew, I wouldn't have anyone to ask questions if I'm stuck with it.

  • Yes I am intimidated by commercial patterns. Why? I am a brand new sewer and have never made a garment from start to finish. You are such a wonderful instructor that I am ready for the challenge. Thank you so much.

  • cant wait...now I can make my kids the pants they have wanted...thank you...you do a fantastic job explaining your craft!

  • YEs....because I feel like I always overanalyze the steps!!! So i give up because I am too afraid to cute the fabric and waste it! By the way I found your youtube page once upon a time because i was looking for a good pattern reading tutorial. Never really got it...they were usually very vague and never showed the pattern up close.....YOURS IS TOP NOTCH!!!

  • Yes, I am intimidated by all clothing patterns. Although I knew all the basics of sewing from watching my mom growing up. When I took sewing in High School I chose a pattern that still gives me nightmares. Zippers, waist band, etc. UGH!

  • Yes I am intimidated by clothing patterns. I learned to sew watching my mom but when I took formal classes in High School they let us pick the pattern we wanted and of course I got one with set in waist, zippers, etc. All the things that are a nightmare when you are trying to learn. I still remember the panic feeling of not being able to get it done.

  • I guess I am some what intimidated because I don't know how to read the patterns, and I don't know too much about sewing. I would love to learn how to sew though, and I think these classes and your great teaching skills will help me learn how to sew!

  • I am a little intimidated with the patterns as I haven't sewn from one in a long time. This one looks like it shouldn't be a problem, though. Can't wait to see your next video. Thanks for all your help!!

  • really kewl, thanks for the giveaway opportunity. this is really great, i am watching the video and I already subscribe to your blog. not imitated at all by thee patterns, I use to sew for people years ago.

  • I haven't used a pattern in so long but I would agree that they are intimidating with what appears to be very confusing directions. I think I will go out and look for this pattern as my 10 year old daughter and I sew projects as much as we can but we have yet to tackle a pattern. Thanks for this tutorial We look forward to it!

  • I've stopped sewing from commercial patterns! They seem to assume you know more than you do or that you have someone to teach you. So, I'm very intimidated.

  • I am totally intimidated by commercial patterns! The few I have done assume you know way more about sewing or are so confusing in the directions that I just can't figure them out. I'm so happy you are doing this series... thanks Vanessa :)

  • Commercial sewing patterns seem to be a little bit limiting, not scary. I think that with imagination people can create lots of interesting things from a commercial pattern :)

  • depends on the pattern. If it's a really simple one I'm not intimidated. the word is HESITANT, or discriminating, because there are a lot of things like the shopping cart cover for instance that I have a pattern for but you have a video tutorial for it 100x easier so why should I spend a whole lot more time carefully unfolding fragile pattern paper and scratching my head over written instructions :) ? lol but i kno there are some things like adult clothes that u just can't make w/o a pattern :P

  • Yes I am intimidated by commercial patterns. I am teaching myself to sew and am quite new at it. I have a few simplicity patterns and I found them difficult to follow. I think I bought ones that were way beyond my abilities. Thank you for making these videos. I am learning a lot and feeling more confident.

  • @phiff380 A lady employee at JoAnn's told me that "Simplicity" is a misnomer! I have found my favorite is McCall's ;)

  • @mycutegenes : Thank you for telling me this. I will check them out soon

  • I used to sew a lot when I was younger. I was the Home Ec geek in high school, haha! But I got out of the habit of sewing when I went to college and now that I'm in my early 30's I feel very intimidated. But I think something simple like this would be just the thing to get me back on the horse.

  • To me I find that patterns are kinda hard, but the way you show how to use them I find that is will be helpful to me when i use patterns. But when you use patterns your work looks so much more professional. Thanks for doing the giveaway. If I don't win congrats to the person that won: )

  • I find patterns scary and am so happy that you are taking the fear out them. I have seen some lovely patterns but do not know where to start and am scared to waste fabric and look like a toddler did the sewing! You have taught me so much and am so pleased that I found your Channel. Keep them coming, please as I need to learn more

  • Patterns are a little intimadating to me. I have made a few pillowcase dresses for my daughters, but I would like to start making more complex dresses. Thank you for the great explanation and I look forward to your next videos!

  • Men don't know their hip measurements. We always go by waist. So would you use a man's hip or waist measurement for this? Thanks for a wonderful video.

  • I actually sewed my first thing from a commercial pattern this summer. I used to think it would be too hard for me to figure out, but it really wasn't that bad after all. One step at a time to getting everything perfect, I tend to go to fast to try to get it done and mess something up, so I just need to learn to slow down.

  • I prefer patterns because they map out everything in a structured way. The only problem is the back of the pattern packs - I never get the right measurements and everything I've tried has come out way too big.

  • Yes, I am pretty intimidated by commercial patterns. I just began sewing so I still have so much to learn. This series is awesome!!

  • Yep, I'm intimidated by commercial patterns because they look like you would need an engineering degree to interpret them!! :)

  • i was taught by a teacher but i am still intimidated by the commercial patterns mainly because im really bad at math and its pretty easy to mess them up, one mistake and my project would be all wrong!

  • l was intimidated by sewing patterns, but, after tutorial, l feel that l can try to use them without any problems, at school we used these patterns but they were not explained this well because we were only given a piece of paper to trace, cut and then sew. Wonderful clear illustrations. l remember buying a pattern at a charity shop and l never used it, since yesterday l turned the house upside down looking for that pattern, l hope l will find it soon. Thank you, looking forward to the series.

  • Thanks!

  • I used to be intimited by patterns. My Mom taught me how to sew when I was younger, so i had to call her and ask her many questions. My first real pattern i used was to make my first son & I halloween costumes. I was Dorothy & he was a little scarecrow. They came out great!! We got so many compliments. Now I know how to use them and they are great when you don't know how to make patterns!

  • Very clear and concise directions, You are so talented Beginners don.t be intimidated, it will all come together.

  • Yes it seems very complicated and I am unsure of what I need to begin with, how much space I will need and how long the project will take me. Also the pattern paper can be a noobies total nightmare. I have one I bought last year and still havn't got further than taking it out and looking at it with wonder. Good thing I just subscribed to you crafty!! I would like to actually sew something wearable outside the house!

  • I'm definitely intimidated by commercial patterns, because well I'm a new beginner sewer! Reading and understanding the lingo is hard and not knowing where to start sewing! I had to buy some books and learn the basics. But I'm so glad your doing these series!!! Especially this one!! This pattern can make me some scrub bottoms! So I'm excited to start with you!! I hope you can post the video soon!!

  • at first I'm intimidated by the commercial sewing pattern. I'm so bad at math and my hand is not steady. so afraid to make mistakes.... but learning from mom's golden knowledge it makes me get a A+ :3

i remember when i was young, back when i was grade 6 we have this sewing project (shorts) i was praised by my teacher. and she asked me who teach you to sew like this, i told "my mom"

  • Yes I am intimated by commercial patterns because it is harder to find plus size patterns and I am unsure how to properly adjust patterns to accommodate my size.

  • Hey Vanessa, I am soooo excited that you are doing a sewing series, Yay!!!

I have always wanted to sew but I am terrified to actually make something to wear. Thanks for going over the back of the pattern. You made everything make sense. I can' wait to get started. All of a sudden you gave me confidence to try. How awesome that u r doing this for us. :)

  • thank you thank you thank you for doing a sewing series! I've always been so intimidated to sew clothing (I made a tee shirt quilt last summer) but this makes me want to try! I've never considered using a pattern before because I figured they were too complicated, but a video tutorial will definitely help with that. I like to have written and visual instructions

  • Not intimidated, just frustrated, it seems I can hardly ever find plus sized patterns or when I do try to make something from a pattern SOMETHING always goes just a bit askew...and it becomes unwearable, for me , anyway.

  • very good idea! looking forward to this series/ Am I intimidated by commercial sewing patterns, they can be I think because of my lack of experience, it's not knowing how to read the pattern and how to make it work!

  • Thanks Vanessa for doing a tutorial on this!! I have done one pattern piece, and it the only thing I have made my my daughter doesn't wear!!! Intimidated, of course!!! If I knew how to properly read it, but I get so confused at the terminology and the lay outs!! I wish my school would have had home ec!!! I have about 6 patterns that I still haven't attempted, hopefully with you genius I will be able to make a piece to be proud of!!

  • I'm extremely intimidated to use sewing patterns!!!...I guess I'm just afraid of tearing the paper and then messing up everything or not cuttng the fabric right and just get everything wrong...I guess it is just more confusing for me...but hey I gotta give it a try cuz I love sewing!!!

  • yes I have tried to make somethings and not all of them fit.

  • I am extremely intimidated by patterns. First I don't really know if I read them right and I am horrible at math so that just makes me nervous when I start cutting. I would love to just use the old clothes I have and make something great but I don't know how! So I'll just tune in, I think that will help immensely.

  • No, because that is how I learned to sew as a kid! I have a harder time sewing without a pattern. :)

  • Hey, your opening music is HowToLiz's music. I thought I had the wrong video!

  • NO, because already made pattern are easy way to make very quick gifts

  • I am moderately intimidated by sewing patterns. I think it comes more from beinning afraid of missing a step or miss reading the instuctions then anything else so I like to stick to the super easiest of sewing patterns until I get the hang of what it is I'm reading.

I think this series you have will definitly help me get better at reading and using patterns! This first vid was really clear to understand and follow. Can't wait for the next vid!

  • So I posted my previous comment before the giveaway details, so I will admit to double posting :D I'd have to say I used to be intimidated by patterns because sometimes, even when I measured twice and cut once, I'd still flubb it up :) But, I've been watching your videos and I am reminded of what Bob Ross used to say, "There are no mistakes in art." Now I just buy a little extra and with some of your video tutorials on quilting, I now know what to do with the pieces left over! :D

  • do you know of a **good** website I can find patterns for plus size women? I have *huge* hips on top of being overweight... I find that in many of these patterns I don't get enough bum room and they become uncomfortable. (pants) also, can you give suggestions for how to measure elastic for pants like this in general?

  • Not intimidated much since we learn from our mistakes,,right? Plus practice makes perfect. There will be mistakes along the way but that's the fun about learning, if at first you don't succeed try try again..:-) Love this idea of lessons,,I'm excited..:-)

  • Great explaination of the pattern package. You are doing a great job. I'm going to follow this series (I look at all your videos), even though I've been sewing/Quilting for over 45 years.

  • Can't wait to see more of your learning to use a pattern series! Even though I've been using them for years I'm sure there's something new I can learn :)

  • Yes i am intimidated by sewing patterns....coz i dont think i can follow the instructions closely....and do fear about the wastage of fabric and sewing materials thus used!

But would definitely like to 'see-and-learn'....of course from ur videos.... u surely make those projects look simple and manageable!<3!

    ciao!

  • No, I am not intimidated by commercial sewing patterns. I feel that if you're new to sewing you should first stick to the easier patterns. Once you've mastered those patterns then you can gradually work your way up to something more challenging . Such as VOGUE...lol.

  • I am intimidated by patterns. They are confusing. I am new to sewing and I dont understand a lot of sewing terms. Thank you for your videos they really make it easy to learn.

  • I am very much. I dont always understand the terms that are used and I I feel at my age I should. I enjoy your videos because you explain thing as you go but in a way that is not implied that i do know when that is why i am watching.

  • I have never really used them, i learned how to sew when i was 5 and back then the lady who showed me how to, she showed us to make your own patterns and how to hand sew, then when i got my machine i had a friend show me how to make quilts, but i normally test out my own patterns and never really worry to much about store ones.

  • Yes, I am very much so! ha ha. The reason is most likely because I am very new to sewing and all the women around me are old pros. Very intimidating. Thank you for these tutorials. I won't be intimidated any more. ;D

  • I am sometimes intimidated by patterns...there is some much information to remember and my body measurements are not standard so I do have trouble knowing how to adjust for that. I used to sew a lot for my children when they were young and now am sewing for my grandchildren so I definitely need a refresher on pattern sewing. I so enjoy your videos and look forward to each and every one....this one should be very interesting - looks like my grandchildren will get some new pajamas!! Thank you!

  • At first I was intimidated by commercial patterns. I think the thing that intimated me the most was the sizing. I had no idea that department stores had what they call "vanity sizing" and this size was not your true size. I was afraid to make something too big or too small and then not know how to correct it and not to be even able to wear it. You tube videos like yours have been awesome. Thanks for posting these!! I learn something new every time I watch.

  • Let's just say YES!!! I wear scrubs for work and have attempted twice with no help to make them on my own. Got as far as cutting the fabric out then well stumped on how to piece it together that I threw the pattern and fabric away... I have never sewn anything that could be anything! My mom knows how to sew but growing up living in a single parent family she pretty much sewed all her clothes and formal dresses. So when I asked her how and to help she pretty much said I've done all the sewing I

  • I am TOTALLY intimidated about everything that has to do with sewing!!! lol, i am a "true" beginner and dont even own a sewing machine, yet. lol I'm happy to have run into ur youtube and watch and of course learn with you. Thx for all ur hard work and look forward to learning with you. tfs

  • I'd say I am intimidated, because I'm a beginner. However, I can also say that I'm confident that my confidence will get better while following your great tutorials! Thanks so much!

  • At first I was intimidated by the commercial sewing patterns but now that I have dived in head first on my first one, it's actually not that bad. It's like a puzzle and once you figure out the first few pieces it all comes together. :0)

  • I wouldn't say i'm intimidated. I just so happened to be the odd one in the family. I like working with my hands. Its interesting and it provides you with a sense of accomplishment at the end. I don't know how to read patterns and it's difficult to find a someone to teach you. Even in the internet you can't find proper information without being charged. So thank you very much for a clearly described video. I'd love to learn more.

  • To say I'm intimidated sounds a lot nicer than saying 'I'm terrified!'.... so I'll work with intimidated. :) I grew up seeing my mom do 'free hand' work, so the markings on the commercial patterns are totally foreign to me.

  • I am not intimidated by commercial patterns, mainly since I have been sewing for over 50 years. I do not do much sewing as of late due to financial restrictions. Thank you very much for the primer lesson, as it always good to get refreshed. I have in the past made these type pants and have used this type pattern for dressy, tailored and sleeping pants. The fabric is what changes the styles. Thank you.

  • I am intimidated by commercial sewing patterns because I felt they were too complicated to accomplish. But, after watching this video I now have a better understanding and appreciation for this! Thank you so much!

  • I'm glad you did this tutorial!! I am a new sewer and I think I'm ready to use a commercial pattern, but everytime I go to get one I get nervouse and scared, cuz I have never used one. So yes I am intimadated by them. When I look at the back everthing runs together and I put it back lol. Thanks for the video I cant wait till the next one :)

  • I was a little even though I had to complet a project like this for my final in school. I actully feel more confedent now that I saw this video. Thanks Crafty Gemini:)

  • I am certainly a bit intimidated by commercial patterns. I am not very familiar with the terminology & find it easy to get confused. Although, after watching this video, I have a better understanding of how to read the information & I'm excited to see the rest of the series. Thank you Vanessa!!

  • I'm not really intimidated by commercial patterns, but I really haven't made many either. I do most of my sewing by sight and what pops in my head.

  • at first i might be intimidated by commercial sewing patterns but with time (if you work your way up from simple patterns upwards) you get the hang of what they want you to do and the instructions become easier to read

  • Good tutorial.... I love the one piece pants pattern... kiss the person who thought it up... I use this type pattern all the time for Lounge pants, shorts, costume pants, etc.... everybody needs a good reliable easy pattern to do pants.

  • hi how are u? i dont sew pants lol but next videos dont forget the closed captions smile...thank u i really appreciate it very much.. u better get good rest before baby comes smile.have a great day?

  • i have used patterns before so im not intimidated, im not that good at it though lol but i try

  • Not as much as I used to be, but I tend to select simple styles with techniques that I've used before. I'm self-teaching myself serger techniques and am trying to convert pattern directions in order to use my serger. That's a stretch!

  • Hope you & your beautiful family are doing well =)

I like when they have a pattern for different sizes. The price of patterns are very high. This is such a good start to this project & a lot of help.

No I am not to intimidated by patterns. I need something to go by when I sew. I think there is on time many years ago the pattern was a bet complicated.
