  • Who is he Scarface or member of the Yakuza??

  • Is He Scarface??

  • ah.... he is Chaar .....when he wear glasses xD time2:40

  • it looks like he's stuck in the eighties.

  • adding more than 4 coats of paint makes the pieces to thick and prevents them from fitting together properly. ive had parts break trying to move something :(

  • It takes skills, passion, and patience. Im lacking patience, this guy is good.

  • it's amazing how much time and effort they spend just to make one... i wonder how long it took to make their whole collection o.O

  • I"ve been happy with Alclad II chrome. If this product is as good or better, I would like to check it out. I like ALSA out of all of the choices but the costs are a wallet drainer.

  • what kind of airbrush is that?

  • What do you call that dark powder that he applied on the black paint and when he rubbed gave a polished metal effect?

  • it might be graphite.

  • @antimatterutube I do not know the name but it results in a chrome look and I would like to know it too :D

I just looks so darn good

  • @Modelstate It is called Kosutte Gin San and from what I see, it seems to be discontinued. I can't find it anywhere and it's a real shame because it blows away Alclad or anything else I've ever seen.

  • @Sammara60, Thank you for the name.

I have done some searches so I had found the name out AND did some information requestings.

I have gotten back from a supplier that the product would be reproduced in April or May (hope this year 2010).

So there is a little hope for the rest off us that we can use it asswell.

  • I cant understand him, but just watching him ive learned a lot.

  • So that's Einosuke "The First" Hino, huh? The guy is extremely good at building kits. I love seeing his work in Dengeki Hobby Magazine.

  • i cannot understand..y mostly they still use penknife to scrape away the side..?

  • wow he used alot of paint! But nice outcome though

  • i've never even painted a mobile suit

  • this can be achieve by polishing models....first use 1200 sand paper, then 1500,then 2000,use car polish to polish then wala

  • So you build it twice?vHow do you not lose track of parts? How do you know which part is which?

  • much much paint lol money is no problem i gona do this lol

  • What kind of powder that guy is using and what did he mix it with to make that plastic look like metal?

  • Looks Like Pearl Powder. It give the paint sheen similar to that of a car, i think. A little less glittery though.

  • oh, and I Don't Know about that black powder stuff he uses later though.

But he sprayed a layer of clear paint w/ powder, black clear paint and another Powder layer for depth in shinyness. He even went throught the effort of sanding everything down instead of using primer to compensate for the thick paint.

  • The black powder is called Kosutte Gin-San. By rubbing the powder onto a surface a metallic finish can be produced. The more you rub the brighter it gets.

  • what is the white powder?

  • perl dust

  • soo much paint O.o

  • the reason why he is using so much paint, is becuase he's trying to make it look like the animation version, shinly and bright!!
