@ kenny , thanks for the kind words dude, the ys is a superb motor it's will the haul the .46 just awesome, if you want to fly 3d then I would stay well away from two strikers, they may have more rpm but lack the low down grunt you need for hardcore 3d! Plus they stay tuned way better than a 2 stroke and won't dead stick while you hover!. Cheers for now Jim
Totally Awesome flying brother. I have this engine YS FZ63S still in the box awaiting my Phoenix Models Sukhoi Su-31 ARF. How well do you think it will perform on my .46 rated plane? I'm thinking about getting a YS Z70S to go in my Top Flite Contender 60 which I had originally thought about using a OS Max .65 AX for more top end speed (1,000) rpm higher than 4 stroke... hi jim......just got my plane and motor today do you think it will be ok to mount a irvine 40 lv on its side,,,because like you i would like the exhaust under the fuss.also did you have to build your own firewall to mount the 63....kind regards neil ,,,,aka helinelly

Hi Nelly!! Yup full size servos running at 6v, makes it nice and lively!!. Mke sure ur servos do 6v before you smoke em!!
