  • money really can't buy them all...

  • What sad eulogy

  • I think HRH Princess Margaret is the saddest figure in the British royal family in the last century at least.

  • Princess Margaret speaks and sounds like her sister.

  • @paolocabling I think she sounds like a cross between The Queen & The Princess Royal.

  • Whore of Windsor

  • @BrownSugar2050 A whore that wil be remembered

    will you be remembered?

  • @BrownSugar2050: Does anyone remember the Gangland Criminals from the East End she was mixed up with, who would have thought it. There was a Domentary I watched it was a big cover up operation at the time.

  • @maria610421 Yes John Bindon was associated with her, there is a documentry about his life on hear and it goes into detail about it.. lets just say, what she got upto in her own time was not the image the rest of her family would like us to know! To be honest it shows her to be human being and flesh and blood like the rest of us. In my humble opinion!!

  • @BrownSugar2050: I think it's such a shame people cant see the true picture, instead of the one they paint.

  • I read where Peter was cremated when he passed, and so did Princess Margaret. I remember what a bif flurry that was in the press, about P.M being cremated.

  • Margarete attempted to have a life in spite of being a royal and all the stupid crap that entailed. Yeah, she chose that life over her own true love, because she was and is a child of her culture. Think of it this way: She was in a cult, a cult of royals, everyone around her believed the same stuff, spouted the same stuff, and truly thought they were advising her in her best interest. She had no one outside the cult to be a sounding board. She did as well as could, and better than most.

  • Peter Townsend is so handsome and well spoken in the nineties! It does seem that people wouldn't grown fond of their union had it been allowed to occur, especially in hindsight to her disastrous marriage to Anthony Armstrong-Jones.

  • @counterhon I once saw a pic of the woman he married, and she had an uncanny resblemance to Princess Margaret.

  • I read alot of good things about this Woman and all she did for Charity. Unfortunatlly I also read that she hated Americans and would knock us every chance she got . I hope that was a false rumer because she really did seem to be a nice person. But how can I admire someone that hated my guts ? Oh well I guess no one will ever know for sure .

  • @bjk08880 I'm an Englishman through and through and can I say that I doubt very much that Princess Margaret held the opinion that you suggest that she did. In fact most English men/women appreciate and admire American culture. Our two nations need to appreciate each other and not worry so much about stereotypes and media speculation. Together we're stronger.

  • She was an absolute ledge!

  • Thanks for the moments!

  • I was lucky to have met her in the 70's when I was 11yo. She was sitting by the pool with two bodyguards. I had never met a Real Princess. So I ask my Mom if I could go over and meet her.She said No she gets bothered enough. Princess Margaret over heard me and sent her bodyguard over and ask my Mom if it would be alright for The Princess to meet me. That was all it took. She was WONDERFUL with me. The Thing I Loved about her was her Giggle and Smile. She will a GREAT LADY!! RIP:(

  • @1958louief Lovely comment, lovely memory. Thanks for sharing it. She was such an icon. God rest her soul.

  • @NYCBlonde Your Welcome! You hear so many bad things about her.. Things said about her mean nothing to me now. I met The True Princess as herself. Wonderful Person)

  • @1958louief She should have been queen..

  • Thank you very much for the clips and it´s so loveley to hear her talking. Princess Margaret was my favourite member of the Royal family, there´s no one like her nowadays. She really was the last real princess, SHE was England´s rose. Margaret had charme, wit, glamour beauty and elegance. Even in her 60s and 70s she was beautifully dressed. I had the chance to see her in person twice. Once in 1995 in Scotland and after her first stroke at the Trooping the Colour ceremony in 1998. Thank´s again.

  • @vonFalkenstein77 Hmm..what about her affairs and scandalous behaviour on that island with various people? Not particularly English Rose behaviour was it?

  • @edj66 Prude.

  • @counterhon Hardly. Just reckon rosy tinted spectacles need breaking sometimes.
