12v is good plugs straight into car also the flexi pipe just needs a thin snout nozzle ...just seen dyson dc 31 on gadget show even that was having a bit of a problem cleaning out the cars....can beat house hoover to clean out the car these are good for a quick clean....

@MrToolstop, Can you suggest a suitable adapter to connect this product at home. I love the vacuum but it would be a bonus t be able to use it at home as well.

@mereddyp At the show in the video we used an adaotor which is freely available on the internet. It's a 240v AC to 12v DC car adaptor

@MrToolstop Can you tell about full specs of your acdc adapter? I have this B&D vacuum, and it says that power supply should be 12V - 6.5A. So I guess not everyone will be suitable.

black and decker is a joke, just alot of gimmicks. Not like they use to be... its ashame

@17plasticman Their stuff is aimed at the home and DIY market. I have to say I own one of their dustbusters and it's brilliant around the house. It's not intended to be a replacement for your main household vacuum cleaner, nor are their tools supposed to be for professionals but they are still very good, at a good price point and do a decent job.

@17plasticman well said mr toolstop, I have bought alot of there power tools over the years and your right, there just basic DIY tools. What I hate about B&D is that they put alot of gimmicks into there tools for them to sell. most of the time the gimmicks fail to work, thus making the tool useless. All of the top brand items do not do gimmicks, they just make tools that do the job and thats it. I think some craftsman power tools have silly gimmicks on them as well.

@GayBoyRunning They do very similar tests at trade shows - on the B&D stand they win and on the Dyson stand, Dyson wins, go figure.
