Die Hard is definitely one of the best movie series. DH1 and DH2 were the Best. There is no even competition. DH4 was good too but DH3 was stupid, useless and pointless.

Shouldn't this movie be called:
Live Free, buy $3 cokes, $6 Popcorn and eat Viagra to stay Hard like a withered up Willie"? What a waste of time watching this movie. I finally shut it off after 45 minutes of yelling, screaming, fake explosions, no real plot, sorry ass script, poor acting and all the other special FX that is catered to the minds of 13 year old punk kids.
chilly, go enjoy your 12 year old movie DH4. Plenty of garbage special effects to stimulate brain dead video gamers minds. Maybe thats because they have run out of Ritalin and can't pay attention to something without explosions every 4 minutes.
Wasn't it John McCain that brought down the Nakatomi building in a desperate attempt to play on the fears of the public so he could get Elected? Every DH movie has been a step below the last one. But DH2 was alot like war on terror. A renegade ex military force (Blackwater), A gullible idiot airport security, the tapping into communications, a Hated dictator on the run, and the idea of crashing planes 4 terror.and the flames could be seen for miles.if we only had an Ejection seat in white house.
Actually scenario explaining international strategy of powerfull countries that controlling many factories. So this movie is only a high density period of that strategical processes. Anyone understand me?
it may sound crazy but when i went to the cinema to watch die hard 4 i was very disapointed purely because of the villain the same old don't give me money i will shut down the whole network of conputers

In DH3, the main enemy (the german guy. Forgot his name) is the brother of the main enemy in DH1 (once again, I forget his name).
So there linked, and therefore not pointless. All Die hards were amaing!

McClane went from a accidental hero (wrong time, wrong place) in DH1 to a indestructible fantasy figure in DH4.
Firing a handgun to a fire extinguisher, while the bad guys strafe him with a machine gun? Oh pleeeeezzzz...
He should have died in the beginning of DH4 to add some realism, handing over the role of anti-hero to Long's character.
(And how did Holly ever divorce from this exceptional find? After all they've been through together?)
