  • BOUT DAMN TIME GO VICK!!! i really hope he learns how to be QB this time and not a running back though!!!

  • if he sells jerseys and puts butts into the stands, he's in. The NFL only sees dollars and not sense.

  • joeguy02 im not talking trash online vick lost a 130 million dollar contract and tens of millions worth of endorsements plus he spent 18 months in jail be fair he has paid more than his fair share of whatever punishment anyone could've felt he deserved

  • yeah, I feel he deserves another chance as well but he is an example. Along with "DUI Manslaughter" duos in Leonard Little and Dante Stallworth. You got money, you get away with murder and you get back in the league.

  • come on he didnt get away with murder the league is over punishing his ass... yea he was drunk driving thats a 1 game suspension but because some dumb ass ran out in front of him not in a cross walk and got hit and killed beacuse of his own stupidity not because of stallworth, stallworth had to pay the family probly millions of dollars, has to sit a year unemployed, and lose all that money, have his public reputation tarnished and probly will be released by the browns... now thats not fair

  • Dante Stallworth was over the legal limit, he deserves to serve time. He killed a man for christ sakes, it most likely could have been avoided if he was sober. If you let him off the hook over the limit, you are giving incentive to allow other athletes to drive with "a few more drinks" in their system. When it comes to drinking and driving, being lenient only leads to a higher crash and death rate.

  • i am not saying he didnt deserve punishment and his 30 days jail because he did he was over the limit DUI. but getting smacked that hard for something that most likely would have happened with or without the alcohol because of an idiot running out in front of him to catch a bus it happens all the time out here in ohio man people always run out in front of cars to try and catch the bus most of them dont get hit but still if they followed the law and used crosswalks nothing like this would happen

  • did you see any video of it happening? how would you know?

  • based on the police report and witness statements that were released and they all said that the dude did not use a cross walk and ran out in the middle of the street to catch a bus look it up

  • there is no justice in the justice system. If it was you or I, we'd get at least the minimum sentence no matter what the situation is, but since its an NFL athlete, he gets away with DUI Manslaughter. Dante was also speeding as well, so if he is drunk and speeding and kills someone, don't you think he is responsible for the death of this man?

  • 1. he got 30 days in jail for the DUI ticket which we all get for a 2nd DUI ticket so realy the 30 days is for the manslaughter

    2. it was also a plea bargin being that he admitted to it so instead of going through trial and possibly getting DUI manslaughter and speeding he got DUI manslaughter at a lower sentence because he admitted it the fact that the guy he killed crossed the street illegaly. and only got the DUI manslaughter is beacause he is an NFL star and they wanted to make a statement

  • about drunk driving. there was an incident in denver where a guy was not drunk but hit a guy crossing the street the same way to catch a bus and the guy that hit him did not get a ticket but the guy that got hit got a jay walking ticket so seriously he got what he got only because he is a star. if it were me or you on a first offense there would be no payout to the family there would be no jail time except the 3 days required for 1st offense and maybe a fine but that would be it

  • the law does not state first DUI manslaughter (whether you plead guilty or not) that you don't get any jail time...you serve heavy time if your blood alcohol content is .12 (legal limit .08) and you are speeding (10 miles an hour over the limit) and you kill someone.

you and I would be in prison right now

  • laws very by state i live in ohio and i know for a fact (not by expiernce) that the first DUI (not dui manslaughter) you get 3 days in jail and possible fine, 2nd time is up to 30 days in jail and bigger fine and posible suspension, 3rd time is jail fine and suspension.

what i am saying is he should not have gotten charged with dui manslaughter, that guy did an illegal action which caused his death. if it were a regular joe like us we would not get dui manslaughter just dui and maybe speeding

  • and i just wanted to say its nice talkin to some one that is smart to many kids and idiots on the internet

  • haha I'll agree with you on that one. doesn't a lot of your punishment lie on what the judge decides though? like with some DUI Manslaughters (if its 100% entirely their fault) can't you get months or in the same case decades?

  • well i looked it "DUI/Manslaughter: Second Degree Felony not more than $10,000 fine and/or 15 years imprisonment" that is floridas law on it so yea maxium penalty is 15 years in jail if you hit and run on it maximum is 30 years nothing like murder... so i think the judge definatly took into consideration that it was not really his fault, he already had settled with the family, he did not flea, he admitted to it which resulted in only 30 days jail but what ever he got he still has to live with it

  • I agree with your comment all the way, what more do they wnat the man to lose. At some point we have to say that enough is enough, how much punishment can one man take. I know that dog fighting is wrong but at the end of the day he's paid with his money and freedom. We act like this man was a school teacher or something, he's a football player for God's sake not the Pope!

  • fuckin truth man how much do you want this man to pay for somethin people in the hood dont even get caught on ( vick got snitched on) and when they do get caught they dont go bankrupt and lose MILLIONS!!!! of dollars and had to lose 18 months of his life...come on now if that aint enough then you people are fuckin stupid!

  • A man who will kill innocent dogs is capable of much worse........dogs are like kids dude.....this man is evil.......but he should get to play because he is a super athlete.......right ?

  • jacobrester dogs are NOT LIKE KIDS seriously. And he should not play because he's a superathlete but play because this is america. Remeber the country that says if you do the time and someone wishes to hire you since you paid your debt to society you can live your life. I mean come on man if you gotta a problem with VIck trying to get back in the NFL you're crazy of course any of us who had a chance to make 7 Million would work hard to get back no matter what crime we committed.

  • I never said he didnt deserve a second chance......I said he is an evil bastard......why dont you google and discover the relationship between serial killers and animal murder

  • I already know that relationship I doubt a man in the NFL is going to take it to the next level and start killing people. And rather you believe evil or not my point is you can't refute the facts of free= right to live life no matter how evil we believe a person is

  • It is a right to live your life......it is not a right to play in the NFL

  • Its not a right to work at burger king either the reality is the whole privilige thing with sports is laughable to me because their is no privilige about it. You bust ya ass like every high paid person in America CEO's Presidents, etc/. The reality is sports is a business and like all business if you can produce money you will get in and the reality is vick prodcues money so vick will get in which means that option to live that part of his life is open so he can take the option.

  • I guess what im saying is if the NFL opens the door what different is it from a CEO getting his old job back or a construction worker back at his job lets say they all did the same crime could produce millions and were needed in the job what different would it be

  • ok im a vet tech and love my dogs alot (but not more then my kids) but i do consider them part of my family but vick is not evil. alot of people that live or come from the hood consider dog fighting a SPORT as fucked as it is thats what they think. vick is not evil he was just doin what he was showed where he came from. and he is aloud to play because like i said he paid his time and he can still play

  • come checkout my video!! HITLER FINDS OUT BRANDON MARSHALL GOT SUSPENDED!!

  • WoW! its great to see vick play again, hes payed he debt to society and he WILL win the NFL comeback player of the year

  • If anyone is still whining and bitch about him organizing and participating in dogfighting stop cry like a bitch he did his time its all over with now if he makes another big mistake like that again then that's a different story but he deserves to play just as much as anyone else
