  • how the F is that?!

  • Imagine creating a Dynamo (AC that is powered by push & pull) that is based on gravity technique such as this. Instant BILLIONAIRE!

  • is that piss in that bottle?

  • @bijimitsu A important fakt for the trick that everybody should know! answer please

  • u burned the end of the stick and it stuck to the tip!

  • No way this is real

  • Pretty awsome how did you... It's like you glued the string

  • Basicly, its like those butterflies that balence on the end of your finger, its all about the weights

  • lolz

  • WICKED SICK!!!!!

  • like those little plastic birds.....o the good ol' days

  • Comment removed

  • I guess it doesn't take much to make some folks turn their heads sideways like your dog does when you say, "where's your ball?".

  • 1% Witchcraft. 99% Physics.

  • The handles of the fork are on the opposite sides which serves as counter weights pushing the stick thingy back while the heads are pushung the stick down, this makes the stick remain perfectly balanced in a diagonal position ontop of any surface, this also works on your finger.

  • i see forks balancing, not flying

  • I didnt know that if you climbed a tree to the top and stood on a branch that it would be called flying.

  • What the heck ?? there's no flying centre point of gravity :)

  • what the waggles?!!

  • Keep cheating and god will ban you.

  • that is a glitch in the matrix, it will be fixed by the next patch...

  • counter wight due to the fork handle pulling on the other side

  • is not flying at all, wrong title. Every object on Earth has "center of gravity" google it and this combining folks is at the lower tip of the purple stick :) spoil it coz my c.g is at the tip of my lower too ;)

  • World has detected a Gravity Bug, report Bug?

    [ Yes ] [ No ]

  • what's that purple thing?

  • @teartan i straw

  • @teartan wait no it isnt soz:P

  • It only works because there is urine in the bottle. LOL

  • how you do it!!!

  • NICE CORN CUP! lol

  • Just work out the free body diagram for any of those configurations, it will make sense then, if you cant do that then I cant help you.

  • Whats the thing he uses between the forks?

  • der trick ist alt

  • Ok do this take a tooth pick and salt shaker and put a tooth pick inside the salt shaker where it wont move, next do that same thing with the forks then put a tooth pick inside of it then try to balance the tooth pick with the forks on the tooth pikc in the salt shaker :) i just did it its amazing :)

  • glue :))

  • This is a good beginner trick, however, I hope your young because most magicians learn this trick as an ametueur magician growing up. You should be about 3.5-4 years old if you actually take this seriously. I personally was taught this as my first trick when I was 4 years old, yes, I admit, a little on the older side, but nonetheless, I proceeded onto much more complex and advanced magic as I aged. I am now 100 years old and wiser than ever. And I am also better than you.

  • really cool but i figured it out

  • No do this when you are three sheets to the wind. OR you could make a raw egg stand on it's small end. I could teach that but not explain...it's more than just physics and practical geometry. ;^) No trickery either...just buy me drink kids.

  • Physics is amazing!

This works by moving the forks center of gravity o the middle of the bottle, allowing them to hang at an angle that looks impossible. Just make sure the little purple thingy that holds the forks up is strong!

  • Retard

  • the center of ballance/gravity is still on the cap of the bottle so the forks dont fall

  • @Scienceboy42 It hangs because of the torque, center of gravity is not the factor here.

  • @ALL PEOPLE

Weight of fork and spoon completely equal here, and eliminates the center of gravity, According to special relativity, but for Newton mechanics has reduced weight center of the body, even in a symmetric point and you can make it in your home but be sure that weight of spoon&fork should be completely equal.

  • @Scienceboy42 yeah but the forks weight more , so how he does it?

  • @danielrodriguezmera Its all balance. The prongs weight more, so he makes the handles stick out farther in the back, making it balance on the end of the purple thing. Same principle as a hammer, the handle weighs less, so you have to hold it closer to the head to make it balance in your hand.

  • @Scienceboy42 very smart young sky walker

  • what do you need to do, to do this?

  • the handles look at the handles thay have a mass thats equale to the other side the way its sitting

  • great balancing trick...........;)

  • GREAT!! They glitched it -_-

  • oh my fiziks.

it cracks me up that he moves it to other surfaces too. hahaha

  • If this was the 12th Century; you'd be burnt as a witch >:D

  • the fork is heavier in the other side thats down. Its trying to pull the other side. Anyways I know how to do this. I just dont know how to explain it. lol!

  • @nikeshocksshocks Rotational physics. The forks cant rotate independently, due to being crossed. They want to rotate upwards, due to the handle being longer and heavier, but the toothpick (or whatever) is stopping them by touching the other surface/being interlocked. Gravity is balancing the system in the downward direction. Basically, all the forces are pointing up, due to rotations, but gravity is pulling it down.

  • @Melthornal nothing to do with rotation all mass a saw a vid of some one doing it off the side of a cup no rotation

  • @roflcoptergoesscisci Absolutely there is rotation. It is balanced by gravity. The bottom is rotating up, the top is pushed down by gravity. The forces are equal and opposite, so nothing moves.

  • @Melthornal you can do it of the side of a cup with a tooth pick and 2 forks thare shoud be a vid of it in the Suggestions box

  • @roflcoptergoesscisci I know, I showed that trick to my family just this weekend. That is still using ROTATION.

BTW you can even light the toothpick on fire (the part inside the cup) and it will balance.

  • @Melthornal he probably gets confused by your use of the word rotation, most people are not very familiar with rotational dynamics.

If you just think of it as a pendulum (without getting into the details) most people should be able to see how this is just the same, the balancing point is directly above the center of mass, so the system is stable.

The reason you can burn the toothpick is that it has so little mass, and burning it off wont shift the center of mass very much.

  • OcMeG HnOtWe DrOoEfS TgHrIaS WvOiRtKy???

The caps letters are for noobs, the lower case are for people with brains

  • this is just crap, but i cant stop watching.....

  • I can do this wit a hammer and a chopstick.

  • wtf man ?> just wait till i get my camera ...so gonna start doing this shittt...

  • centre of gravity of the whole system is at that end of the stick where it rests.

  • wow nobel prize for this man

  • YAY PHYSICS!

  • i may just be a dork, but that is AWESOME music!

  • The weight is distributed to both sides

  • try searching center of gravity on wiki and go back here again.

  • is there a magnet under the lid ?

  • you used celatape u geek on the last bit you can see lol ?

  • a fairly well known trick. not all that impressive

  • JUDGE JUDY!

  • o.0 what dha hell

  • OMG!!! THATS BLAC MAGIC!!!! OMG!!!!

  • ohhh i get it. the weights just really evenly balanced between the forks' heads and ends. neat :P

  • just like those wooden balancing birds i use to play with when i was younger.. you place the beak on your finger and the bird is perfectly balanced even if you move it

  • the weight is balanced

  • May I know exactly what physics law this is? I'd like to research on it.

  • glue

  • another bugs in this world to report... :|

    what`s god`s number again ?

  • are they keeping their pee in jars??

  • are you F**king sure ?

  • Is there something wrong with me that my eyes do believe? I just see objects balanced with counterweight. And yeah, Beethoven would cry if he heard the techno rendition of his 5th.

  • its 2 invisibel wirres

  • the ends of the fork are pulling the joint parts at the tip of the tooth pic thus balnancing it self out

  • What was god's number?I need to report a bug.

  • @braydenflog wow you just copied the other vid's highest rated comment. what a noobasauraus.

  • @braydenflog No god, only Matrix!! The Agents are coming for you!!

  • @braydenflog id rather call it an awesome glitch

  • @braydenflog

haha))) but it's the good law of physic

  • @braydenflog +0666666... Thank you for calling :D

  • he is lowering the center of mass of the system, is very interesting

  • this is not real its just photoshop

  • @saif80devil : well, yes. Look around, it's not real life, it's only a computer game, photoshoped...

  • this is easy i done it on a cup with a match

  • My eyes doesn't believe, but my brain does. :D

  • this song hes playing, makes me think of that episode of family guy when peter, quagmire, joe, and clevland all go to the rollar rink to pick up meg and break into dance.

  • Nice showing some useful tricks.^^

  • @EODBugmaster

this trick uses the law of mechanics i.e. centroid.

the centre of gravity of the above combination lies on that straw. that's why it's balancing perfectly.

  • this music is brutal. . .

  • i got the first part, but once you put that cup ther!

  • the only thing i was amazed about is.. the music.. c'mon is it the funk style of beethoven's 5th symphony?? xD

  • look at the handle of the fork if u compare it to the tip sharp lines of the for the handle is hevier the the tip ! so it make a balance....(*_*)

  • its balancing. not magic.

  • the center of mass is right under that stick. Just like the seagull.

  • dude that aint magic that is phsyics

  • comg lol... Check out my vid!! youtube. com/ watch?v=Qw5WZuep-gQ

  • я так в детстве сто раз делал

  • Fake x(

  • ive tried it and it actually works :)

  • zzZZZZz

  • ive done this before. It is awesome. Not fake

  • crazy glue

  • @FELMAS08 lol

  • Are you retarded?

  • Simple balance...

I like the corn cob cup!

    Say that 3 times fast...

  • the title is misleading its magic duh

  • I kept waiting for something interesting to happen... it never did.

  • whats the deal whit the jocks on the coments?

  • wish my science teacher would have made it spin :D puts a nice touch on it

  • howd yah do that?! urgh..

  • its the teether toy.

    very interesting physics behind this

  • what the fuck is up with the music ?! otherwise nice effect :)

  • LOL

  • what are the materials used for this trick?! :)

  • @talunan2 2 forks and a purple stick

  • sit and watch sports for hours?

  • excelent, now you need a monkey and a beautiful girl, and you have a circus!!!

  • @yacar3 he need Tent as well

  • rofl nice one yacar3

  • i test this works

  • D: Wen the rotating knifes ATTACK!!!!!!!!!

  • yes plz ah coockie al be nice:L

  • Do you want a cookie?

  • yes plz ah fanced ah coockie

  • no MAGIC its called center of gravity

  • u must be good at gravity tricks

  • simple weight distribution.. and yeh.. seagull thingy was based on that.

  • There's actually a product designed after that; a plastic seagull that balances on its beak. We used to have two, no idea where they went...

  • center of gravity.....

  • no he's not

  • You think so? I would try it if I were you, no trickery in this.

  • lol ur so smart (sarcasm)

  • we are doing this in school ( science class )

because it relates to us making a trebushet..

    or something..really cool.

  • satanic magick!!

  • music is annoying as hell.

  • Just mute it and enjoy! ;)

  • @sulandus ok i mute it but i'm not enjoying it what can i do?

  • @travispastranaone99 its not even annoying

  • @travispastranaone99 are u srs? srsly srs? anyways, plz keep ur opinions to urself before u get killed m8.

  • equilibrium forces

  • no i dont ...

  • do you mean that he is haveing no trick in that video same thing that i said

  • yeah i think so ... :D you're rly GOOD

  • i under stand ... no magic no witch ..

    balancing ...

  • WITCH

  • was the stove on?

  • power your house with the power of gravity = ()

  • it would've been great if you'd have shown us how to actually do it...

  • WITCH!!! WITCH!! lol

  • may u tell me what that purple thing was?

  • The forks are perfectly balanced. Even though it looks as if most of the mass is way out from the bottle the handles of the fork provide couter weight and keeps everything balanced.

  • I got it ^^ nice video

  • Who the hell puts drums under beethoven's 5th? It's so tacky!

  • HOW?!?

  • did you make that trick up?

  • this trick always amazes me dont know why

  • A similar thing to this is that eagle toy that rests his beak on a point and the rest of his body stays suspended in air. I have one, kinda cool.

  • i remember those!!! i used to have one when i was little from a crane game at walmart lol...i want another one but havent seen one in forever

  • haha holy sh*t ... thats hella chuck norris...

  • it's niice~ XD

  • are you all stupid those are just principles of balance, noobish

  • if only you weren't so stupid urself, it is the principles of gravity and before you call people stupid maybe you should learn that
