hey, just a question since the start when grove was facing Haku you knew it would use roost and eliminate it's flying type and as it was faster why not just using grove's earthquake?, and though this battle is really long is so much fun seeing it.

That's the thing: It's hard to figure out patterns in my opponents until I see them a few times, and that's only if they don't shake things up just to throw me off. Earthquake is a big risk to use, since he may have predicted this and chose to do something else and make Earthquake useless.

Over Hazard. It hasn't been letting me message ANYONE for some weird reason. But the Power lens Ups Sp Atk EVS right? It says it lowers speed. Does it me it lowers the pokemons speed while in battle and if it is not holding it it will be back to normal? or is it like a Nature? It minuses Speed? Thanks!!

That's right, the Power Lens increases your EVs in Special Attack. For every Pokémon you defeat with it, it gets four more EV points for Special Attack.

When it's wearing the Power Lens, the Pokémon's Speed gets cut in half. When you take it off, it'll go back to normal.

It was the only move I could use against Vaporeon. Vaporeon has Water Absorb, so Surf would only heal Vaporeon, and I couldn't afford to switch at that point.

There's no doubt about it. That Vaporeon was overly EV trained in SP. ATK. as far as I can see.

Your opponent must've worked hard to gather his power-up-in-a-pinch Berries.

I got my berries from Emerald when I was Growing them. All the Vaporeon you fight probably have 252 DEF and HP. My Vaporeon has always been attackers, not what everyone else runs. It makes me sick.

Aren't there stronger special attacks that your birds could be running?

I don't know any off of the op of my head... I know Articuno used to get Water Pulse, which isn't that much stronger, but it gets a 30% confusion chance, so I guess that's nice.

I like the 10% chance of increasing all my stats at once. I raised them differently then everyone else's birds. I swept teams with Articuno because of Ancientpower, same with Zapdos and Moltres.

Your Sp. Attack must be incredible to be able to sweep teams with an attack with base 60, even with type advantages.

There were a lot more pinch Berries than I had expected. I get them from PBR and from Pokémon XD, though I typically don't have much use for them.

you don't know the psychology of destiny bond, do you? xD

From the battles i observed, usually after u used destiny bond 2 times (consecutively) , the opponent will get afraid of taking you down, and this is when u can lay an attack. after this, the opponent will think it is safe to attack again, then you can use destiny bond.

I wasn't in a position to attack, however. And that won't work against someone who knows that sequence.
