my guinea pig had a seizure last month and another one just now he had convulsions not due to mites or parasites. he has history or upper respiratory infection and now he is having seizures that last 20-60 seconds our vet doesn't know whats it is and don't think has much experience with guinea pigs. can someone piont me in right direction

i tryed to take mine to the vet but they said no cuzz it was a rodent

You can find a specialty vet. I have a rabbit and only certain animal hospitals know what they are doing for these small animals. I'm not sure, but if you google House Rabbit Society you'll find a site and they'll have info on animal hospitals that can care for small animals. You might start there.

you have to go to an exotic vet, regular vet don't see guinea pig.
