Wow i was very impressed, i love the idea of samurai in minecraft and have become intrigued with the edo period as i own shogun 2, just a suggestion but a rice paddy farm nearby would make it amazing.

I've got some Questions. You used lots of Wool. Did you really farmed sheeps or is the wool "cheated"? How can I join that Server? Which Programm did you use to edit the Texture Pack? Have you got Team Speak, so you could maybe tell me something about how to build something like that. I've got a Japanese Castle on Cube-Network but after I've seen that I want to change it xD. Sorry if there are Mistakes in my Post I'm from Germany and my English is not that good.

@SlipKnoT4everKid I did use /give to get my mats for this build (so much wool, it would have taken years :P)

The server is NoobToob, the only way to get in is to ask for the IP on the NoobToob Forum.

I used Photoshop to edit my textures.

How did you get that Dark Wood ? I downloaded the texture pack but i don't get that specifique wood :( And after patch 1.5 i havn't been able to make this texture pack work.... I'm on a Mac so if anybody knows what might be wrong i would love a reply :)

@foolchecker123 It should work with 1.5. I'm not sure about the it on Mac tough, since you have to use MCPatcher to get it to work and it used .rar.

Hmm I've got a Japanese castle but it's much much different... I do want to learn how you made that large building that.... That sort of architecture always eludes me... I need to google search how to do it... Also what was that tan material used for you walls?

@geckodty I modified MISA texture pack to make it more like I wanted :P Made the white wool more paperish.

I think the key to Japanese Building is the Roof, unlike Chinese Roof, its not a bunch of stacked pyramid. Its a bit like if you build a simple triangle shaped roof, than build another building on top of it but smaller and in the other direction. Sorry if that's not clear tough :P

I modified 5 wool color to make the tatami pattern work. 4 half, 2 for each direction and 1 square.

This is so incredibly epic, I love the texture pack and I think the buildings are awesome. I had one idea, maybe you could change the colour of the leaves on the trees from green to pink.
