Not a bad cover, and good idea to stick pretty close to the original, which can't be topped. The thing about a lot of Cars songs is that they're already fairly unique and inventive, so doing covers will not do them justice.

Eh, sounds too much like the original.

If a band's gonna cover a song, they should "make it their own", so to speak... like Manson did with "Sweet Dreams", Mushroomhead did with "Crazy", and Spineshank did with "While My Guitar Gently Weeps". If I wanted it to sound like the original, I'd listen to the original artist.
