I think you're missing the point.Such cultures place value on humanity not material wealth.Hence large families symbolises 'spiritual blessings'.The only reason they are materially poor is that their rich resources were stolen and their infrastructure destroyed by the leeches from the west during colonization etc.Not sure where you are from but I'm sure your country would not have a quarter of what it 'has' if it wasn't for your murderous thieving ancestors .Please educate yourself.

UK is a part of EU, the only thing they didnt change is their currency but sooner or later, the pound will go below euro.

and 3 in 4 workers in the UK are from the EU.
