@JonaBay - I know that people give false confessions as it happens a great deal in the U.S. which is known for having a huge number of miscarriages of justice. This is due to their system of electing prosecutors and police chiefs and so putting them in a position where they must get a conviction at all costs to keep their jobs.

But they actually DID indeed test it, it tested negative for blood. Therefor they lied, they blatantly lied.

Italian judges and jury were not affected at all. Overwhelming evidence of Knox guilt was only partially published, but there is a lot lot more that was not even presented in the court. 10.000 pages of it. PR team can't deny it that is why they are fighting fiercely all over the internet to sway people's opinion. There are many methods to beat a polygraph. The only time they actually work is when the person being put under the polygraph either gets exhausted (if I remember correctly a session is 90 minutes or so) or they actually believe the polygraph can tell whether or not you are telling the truth, which changes their heart rate, blood pressure and sweat when they lie. Most people actually believe dna was found on the knife, it wasn't. There was no confession by Amanda, the knife didn't match the wounds and the police both admit and videotaped themselves compromising the crime scene. Italian juries don't even get sequestered, one can imagine how many innocents are in their prisons.

Bullshit. Hundreds of juries in the states don't get sequestered. Innocent people have alibis, they don't attempt to clean a murder scene, they don't implicate innocent people. If she made an honest mistake, she would have recanted. Instead, she waited 2 weeks and only through luck did people come forward and defend him. If she was innocent, she and her bf's stories would have lined up. They never did. She is lying. Either she was the perp or an accomplice. Both deserve prison.
In a case like this any judge in the US would of sequestered the jury during the trial and deliberations to avoid problems not only with the conviction and sentence, but with the appeal as well. The media blitz started way before the actual trail, even though Italy doesn't sequester it's jurors it should have some kind of rules set in place so a juror isn't influenced by media or individuals. You can play detective all you want, this was an unfair trail and verdict. See you all after appeal.

I'm Italian but from 4 years i live in the States. The Italian justice system sucks, i always hated it, i don't believe it's fair. Hard to say who's guilty or not, the fact is that someone killed Meredeth. I haven't followed the case, but the sex game story could be true though, i don't see any other reason why Meredeth would be in the bedroom with her throat sliced. It doesn't add up that someone randomly kill the girl for no reason. If they were drugged+drunk, who knows.

This is due to their system of electing prosecutors and police chiefs and so putting them in a position where they must get a conviction at all costs to keep their jobs.

And as for that 'bloody' bare footprints that have been attributed to Amanda, well its not blood. The prosecution said "we didn't test it, but its either blood or fruit juice, you decide." But they actually DID indeed test it, it tested negative for blood. Therefor they lied, they blatantly lied.

Italian judges and jury were not affected at all. Overwhelming evidence of Knox guilt was only partially published, but there is a lot lot more that was not even presented in the court. 10.000 pages of it. PR team can't deny it that is why they are fighting fiercely all over the internet to sway people's opinion. There are many methods to beat a polygraph. The only time they actually work is when the person being put under the polygraph either gets exhausted (if I remember correctly a session is 90 minutes or so) or they actually believe the polygraph can tell whether or not you are telling the truth, which changes their heart rate, blood pressure and sweat when they lie. There was no confession by Amanda, the knife didn't match the wounds and the police both admit and videotaped themselves compromising the crime scene. Bullshit. Hundreds of juries in the states don't get sequestered. Innocent people have alibis, they don't attempt to clean a murder scene, they don't implicate innocent people. If she made an honest mistake, she would have recanted. Instead, she waited 2 weeks and only through luck did people come forward and defend him. If she was innocent, she and her bf's stories would have lined up. They never did. She is lying. Either she was the perp or an accomplice. Both deserve prison.

In a case like this any judge in the US would of sequestered the jury during the trial and deliberations to avoid problems not only with the conviction and sentence, but with the appeal as well. The media blitz started way before the actual trail, even though Italy doesn't sequester it's jurors it should have some kind of rules set in place so a juror isn't influenced by media or individuals. You can play detective all you want, this was an unfair trail and verdict. See you all after appeal.

Hard to say who's guilty or not, the fact is that someone killed Meredeth. As far as the story she gave under interrogation, you have no ability to comment on it. The stress alone of having an interrogator tell you that you murdered someone is enough to have a human admit to a crime they didn't commit. I think there was Amanda Knox involved , a nice girl shown on most tv and film, and the drug crazed fiend that she became when on drugs that murdered another.
Either way it was/is still her and she pays.

Seems to me like the media and the Italians convicted her way before the trial. In America the jury would have been sequestered, allowing some chance of a fair trial. It seems to me that she was found guilty based on her American citizenship vs real evidence. All Italy had was explained away. Being anti-American is no excuse for the vile comments and repulsive words of hate. You better hope it never happens to you or yours. If there is doubt...She should be freed. BTW I am Italian.

I hope that justice has been served and the right people are going to jail. I don't think it's possible to know Amanda Knox. Is she showing one face to her family and living another life behind closed doors or in the bedroom. Personally I don't care. I just feel for the family of the murder victim and hope that the cops did a good job and the jury made the right decision.
