  • ITS NOT BRICKED, if the psp is bricked then what happened to @god7isgood is what will happen, if the green light comes on, then turns off (no screen or anything) then its bricked, this is a totally different issue... I'm having this same exact issue, I was told by someone who works at a local game store that it has to do with the board that the power switch is part of, it could either be the switch isn't hitting a "sensor" or cables might be loose...

  • @AoiMitsuko totaly 100% bricked my old friend fixed a psp that had the same problem. also, go take a shit on that game store employee that told you that, he obviously has no \

  • @CX3xLonely experience with bricked psp's. borrow a friends pandora battery if it is happening to you, and dont post shit that you have no physical proof of its correctness, and yes, correctness is a word, so you cant say shit about my grammar. also, stop trying to defend people you dont know, word of advise, they honestly dont give a shit one way or the other. and i am not posting this to start a flame war just heping you... in an offensive way. sorry it wastoo long

  • @CX3xLonely so basically i have to pandora this thing again? Why is it that like everywhere that talks about bricked psp's they all mention a green light coming on and then turning off (which doesn't happen here)? Curious about this cause its beyond irritating... I'm gonna just end up getting a VITA next month, but i still want my psp due to the 100's of GB's in games i have :/

  • @AoiMitsuko Yeah it is still a brick problem.i had it and my pandora battery fixed it. sometimes, thought, the buton wears out and you may have to try it like 15 times. it isn't the motherboard, just the button. if i seemed hostile in my previous comment i apologize, and i was just trying to help. i was kinda pissed off my psp had a wierd problem and i was angry (wtf why do these things keep breaking!)if you need any help with you psp feel free to message me i would be glad to help.

  • @CX3xLonely well i just finished taking apart my psp and putting it back together, checked ALL the internals. Nothing seems fried, the fuse is fine (or the orange light wouldn't even be working), also what that guy at gamecrazy said, as you stated below in ur 1st reply, was totally wrong cause that little switch works just fine and it was catching, that's totally NOT the problem. I was hoping I wouldn't have to pandora it again but it seems I don't have a choice...

  • @CX3xLonely i need help.my psp dropped and wouldn't turn on, but it charges fine. i thought it was the wire for the screen or something fell out but that was not the problem. please help thnx.

  • did you ever actually get a fix for this???

  • same thing happen to me . pls somebody help me

  • Y psp won't turn on :S I checked the insides and their fine... Charged it it worked.... Help please

  • 17.200 people have broken psp.. me too... i'm googling and many say using pandora and magic memory card.. but it just for bricked psp as the light can turn on but the screen can't.. and my psp is like this vid.. so, i think pandora can't help this problem.. maybe i will buy a new motherboard for solved my psp...

  • maybe to late i got one like this the seam problem i just put it on charger for long time till the light comes green and its work perfect make sure when plug in the light it will not flashing should go true if flashing just press the power button then will go hope will working

  • juz now it happend to my psp...not gettin on...nd takin off battery, charger in, tryin to power on,autoboot battery doesn't workin

  • I have almost the same problem, but I may have SOME advice,

First off, its NOT a brick, even on a successfully modded psp 1001 (CFW 5.50 GEN D3) This is happening to me. It may be a short in the ribbon cable that connects the Power PCB to the Motherboard, but I haven't tried replacing it yet. I have gotten it to power on a few times, but upon any small agitation (like setting it down or pushing "O" hard) it shuts off. Green light just flashes. I am working on it will post if I get a solution.

  • alright guys!!!We all have the same problem!!fucking psp!!shit!i can turn on it but its quickly turn off!!!!fucking psp!...!!

  • @suave34lara that really works .... if you didnt pay it or touch for about 10 days atleast

  • I saw this on another video:

this is the solution if you can open your psp with the external power. all i do is take out the battery and put it in the freezer for 10 mins. REMEMBER PUT THE BATTERY IN ZIPLOC .after you take it out of the freezer put it in your psp and plug the charger. at this moment you will not see the orange light ...but still it is charging..let it sit for 20 mins. then unplug .and then open your psp using the battery and then that's it
