its the same as asians calling each other chinks, but no one tells them to stop saying it. as long as you don't use words that can be racial slurs in a hateful way, it's all good. words have no definitions other than the ones we give them. they have no meaning without the feeling conveyed behind them. if you take that away from it, the word can be whatever you want.

im black and i think the only reason why this is an issue is because slavery was such a disgrace in history , and some believe that the word will never let the subject die, because some and i mean some white people feel ashamed of what an ancestor was capable of such an act, some don't and still embrace the idea...but this sort of history should never be forgotten cuz history repeats and we need to learn from our mistakes..how u think it makes us feel to hear how our ancestors were treated
