Wow, Miguel, fantastic visual effects, music was great, unique and visually pleasing character design (I love the blue silhouette of the boy at the beginning), the fluid of movement was spectacularly done...had a few "WTF" moments, but this is just really polished and professional. Excellent work, man, you're a head above the rest, for sure.

The squirrel was never killed, the boy came back before his little robot toy could finish the job. Though, he WILL get a fright at the squirrel popping out...unless it's sealed pretty tight, THEN it would sufficate and the boy'd have a dead squirrel in his lunchbox

I see what you're saying but isn't that assuming that the movie runs linearly through time and doesn't skip any moments? Wouldn't the robot have given a sign of the incoming boy if this is so (when he was about to melt the squirrel)? What I'm saying is that there's a piece missing/a skip in time (probably intentionally) to leave you in suspense.
