And it had even the disgrace of Disco King :-(

After listening to "WILDFLOWER" half a trillion times since it's release in 1981 (HA!) I can attest that this recording is indeed a "rough-mix" from the original session tape and not a "demo-recording". However, the grain & hiss in the background, tells me that it came from a chromium-dioxide, high-bias, cassette tape. Albeit, WILDFLOWER is a GREAT GEM of a song, even though critics, some fans & mostly (unfortunately) The Bee Gees themselves, discount this album heavily.

This a great song, it sounds like something that the Beach Boys would have done, only better. Maurice has a wonderful voice! Love this song. The Bee Gees are totally underrated. It drives me crazyl In my opinion, they are better than the Beatles. Their last cd, Still Waters, well, I have been trying to make myself full of it, by listening to it over and over and I cannot. I give Up! I have worn out my last purchase and will get another. This is a great song!
