Poor Peg. Apparently a message came through the day after her suicide that she'd got a part in a movie. She was married for a while to one of my favorite old character actors, Robert Keith (father to another great actor, Brian Keith, although Peg wasn't Brian's mother). Still, by topping herself she did ensure immortality of a sort, like the old Greek Empedocles who threw himself into the volcano on Mt Etna just to be remembered! Me, I'd rather live till 90 and die forgotten!

Your "home" movies are sensational. It is all too rare to see how people behaved and dressed in real life -- compared to how they dressed in Hollywood productions.
