Even though Eva Green is a good actress and all but I think she wont suit the role of Angelique. But I personally think Olivia Wilde could do a very good job of Angelique due to the fact she looks the role (if you dye her hair blond) and could show both sweet, innocent and lovely side and her cold and ruthless side as well.

I think Meryl would be the ideal choice for Julia, there's something about Meryl that just reminds me of Grayson Hall.

Who would be your DS cast? I like the idea of Charlize Theron as Angelique. I would select a black haired dyed Daniel Craig to be Barnabas. I would have Ashton Kutcher as my Quentin Collins. It's so sad that the original film was cut so much. The whole original film added conhesiveness to the plot and gave us many more wonderful scenes of Lara and David which were indeed, 'mesmerizing'.

Thanks to Lara for providing the sexiness to Dark Shadows! Lara and David are and always have been my favorites!

Angelique was multi-dimensional character, thanks to Lara and really made Angelique an integral part of the series.

The performances were great. It's unfortunate the original movie was edited to the point of being fragmented.

I have dreams about this movie, but no nightmares. In my sleep, I picture different settings with the characters appearing as they do in the movie.

I'm looking for ways to make the movie more frightening!

I would have implemented more darkness for some scenes, and would've got rid of that cheesy harmonica music.

I thought the flashback scenes, and Angelique herself were the best parts of this film. Though I enjoyed it, I didn't enjoy it as much as House. An excellent post!

Lara Parker is freakingly amazing as Angelique! I've been in love with her character ever since I was introduced to "Dark Shadows" on the Sci-Fi channel 9 yrs ago. As evil as Angelique was, toward the end of the series she proved she still had a heart & could also be unselfish.(Who would've thought?) :) Lara Parker's beauty is mezmerizing and presently though she's in her sixties she's still as beautiful as she's always been. Eternally & youthfully beautiful. Maybe she really IS Angelique!! :D

Both Movies were really Good. Lara Parker and Storm were great in their roles. I hope to see some of the original cast in the new movie. You hear us Johnny? Bring some of the originals back! Even some of the 90s cast would be Good. Ben Cross was great too!

OH! Was David Selby CUTE! The exteriors for this movie were filmed in Norwalk, CT, where I had just moved AWAY from! SOB! But my best friend Andrea went there and managed to get a few photographs and autographs. I have a book by Kathryn Leigh Scott on location signing autographs there and I SWEAR I can recognize my old friend holding up a Kodak instamatic to get a shot! Would love to contact her again somehow.
