WITH CHEMICALS THIS FREEZER TO PURE ICE:It's pretty simple i'm gonna explain to you: It's "Sodium Acetate" Crystalls In The Water So When U Shake It You Set Of A Chemical Reaction usually Called "Hot Ice" It's Very Easy To Make Sodium Acetate On Your You Only Need "Vinegar" And "Baking Soda" Those two Ingredients non-toxic.
I swear this is real. I have tried it myself. I also have that powder that you put in liquid and it turns it to jell. Supercooling doesn't competely freeze the water, it turns partly to mush.If you put the agitated supercooled water (after you shake it and it goes to ice), in the fridge and wait a while, you will see the chunk of ice in the bottle.
this has happened to me.. i had a bottle of apple juice in the freezer.. it was still liquid.. right when i opened it the whole thing turned into slush.. i was like wow!
this is completely real, i took a bottle out of the freezer and i was pissed it wasn't frozen yet and than it froze instantly before my eyes and tripped me right out cause i had no idea that could happen
This is done using super-absorbant powder that makes water look like it's freezing. Really it's just being turned to jelly as the absorbing polymer quickly spreads and sucks up the water. Otherwise there would be visual evidence of cooling, such as condensation on the bottle.
Lol! Nice try at sounding smart, but no, your wrong. Its actually just a bottle of water that is supercooled. Read about it before you post another ignorant response.
I think hes right...u seem 2 be the ignorant&unobservant one.Water takes up 9/10ths the space of ice.If it really froze,it would have expanded and popped off the cap or broke the plastic bottle.Look closely at the end & u can see that the level didnt change&it slightly moves which means it cannot be solid. I freeze my water bottles to take w/me 2 work.I have 2 pour out some so they dont bust.LOL Don't believe everything you see or read on the internet and maybe you wont look so dumb.
supercooling is real, but when it freezes suddenly, it doesn't freeze solid. It turns to a slush, half water half ice. and it does it rather quickly, too, but it only works with pure water. The other guy was right, you should at least try to have some knowledge on the topic rather than just "I freeze water bottles every day." Its not the same thing.

For all of you idiots that think you're smart saying it doesn't work and you think it requires a chemical to be added, why don't you try it yourself.
We have 2 refrigerators at my house because the older ones freezer is shot; well not completely shot, but it doesn't keep things frozen.
I put a bottle of water in it to cool it down and about 1-2 hours I pulled it out and it turned to slush/ice. It looked pretty cool when it did it :)
TheKiyoni 4 years ago
Oh and I forgot to add, it requires PURE water; in other words water without impurities.
I'd laugh if the guys talking about chemicals and what not, don't understand what I mean.
TheKiyoni 4 years ago
Not so. People do the same thing with bottles of Carona, so I don't think pure water is necessary for the super cooling process.

with corona its different,
alcohol doesnt freeze till -40c
so that stays unfrozen because its part alcohol
when u bang it, it moves the molecules and starts to freeze :)

Think about your last sentence. It is called "supercooling" ... browser here on youtube, you will find a lot of videos about it. Try it yourself.

And you believe everything you see on youtube naggitynag? I'm pretty sure there's a chemical added...Sodium Acetate, can anyone confirm?

It doesn't freeze solid. Its like slush, so there is still a good deal of water still in it, but look around on youtube for other videos.
