Its a Aussi Holden 4 door. Which the GTO was designed from. Except like you stated GTO was a 2 door. All Suspension & Drivetrain parts interchange between the 2 cars.

The G8 is completely different. Holden spent 1 billion on the new model the VE commodore which is australias best selling car. So G8 is completely different from GTO. The horn is the same though.
