I don't see how, in particular, going to renewable energies promotes a global agenda when this end can be accomplished in a free market. While I may not completely agree that CO2 emissions are a primary greenhouse gas (water vapor being the dominant one), I do see that fossil fuels are a finite energy source, and migration from fossil fuels to renewable energies is ultimately necessary. I also may not agree that exaggerating the effect of CO2 is a good means to that end.

We've eliminated the manufacturing base, I know engineers who can't even find jobs with corporations because they are discriminated against because they won't pay them what they are worth. It's just like my yuppy neighborhood my parents like in; people that live near us don't openly want to have a relationship. They'd rather worry about financial gain. Even my own parents don't buy the real 'reality' that their in. Because quite frankly the world is too ugly, and too pessimistic for their small box that they live in.
