  • My ferret had his left adrenal gland removed 2 years ago at age 3. The blood work was $200 and the surgery was $1300 in Memphis TN. My other ferrets have been getting yearly Depo injections to try to prevent them from developing adrenal disease.

  • My ferret has adrenal disease. We have spent so much money treating this. Our next step is probably surgery which is very expensive. They are such great pets it is awful to watch her suffer.

  • If your ferret gets this, I'm sorry, but all ferrets get it. It is very rare for those who dont. If you go to the vet and get it treated it usually it just slows down the disease, and they usually die because of that disease.

  • How much do it cost to treat this...

  • So roughly how much will all this cost, I've always been interested in having a Ferret or a Bunny, I'd love to care for one and I have no problem with cleaning the cages or giving it attention. I just don't know if I'm financially ready :(

So for the cage and the pet itself from what I've learned it's like.. $380 ?

  • Thanks for the info... ferrets are so much fun!
