@Crimsonbonnet People in Germany rely on doctors and medicine because they are able to do so. People in Africa don't have modern medicine to cure, heal, and raise the sick out of death beds. They didn't grow up going to doctors when something was wrong. The only thing these people have is faith. Strong, miraculous faith that you could never dream of.
How come this chap, Reinhard Bonnke, only raises people from the dead in Africa? He is German, right? Do people not die in Germany? Why does he not raise people from the dead in Germany? Perhaps, because German society will demand evidence for his 'miracles'; alas, gullible Africans do not demand such standards from this charlatan.

Bonnke says right at the end of this video "saying no to Jesus is the worst sin that someone can commit". I was simply saying imo that murder is worse. Unless Jesus is totalitarian and wants us always to say yes, then he is loving and big enough to cope with a "No". Murder is dreadful suffering.
I think I catch your drift, but Jesus has the power to overcome death for instance, in the letters of the new testament Paul often refers to the hope he has in the fact that Christ may raise him from the dead on the last day. Paul knows that death will have no grasp on him if he stays faithfull to the end and gets salvation. Jesus also said that you shouldn't fear those who can destroy the flesh (kill you, man) but the One who can cast both body and soul into the Gehenna (God); more important.

He gives Glory to God always; the gospel he speaks is on grace recieved by faith in Jesus who saves; you can see Jesus working wherever he goes, millions and millions of people have come to Jesus through him. @Disciple1818 He teaches that the Lazarus/Rich Man parable is about where sinners spend eternity in literal conscious torments in literal fire. If THAT is not blaspheming the name of Jesus among the nations, then NOTHING is. He is speaking through a lens of self righteousness.
This parable has nothing to do with what happens to a man, post-mortem. It is a message of the reversal of kingdom acceptance (from self righteous Judah to the nations). This is just another perspective on Lk 13:30.

Man, i was once like you people, so obsessed with the litteral accuracy of a story that i missed the simple points of reality. What he was not altering any story but using it as an illustration for another truth, the truth of reality of Heaven and hell.

@msouthern20 He isnt preaching with fear, he is pointing out the simple litteral and practical truth that if you say no to Jesus you will go to hell. Do you know how many countless times hell is described as the consequence of sin and saying no to Jesus in the bible? too many times... In the bible, it is far worse portrayed than he described it. It needs to be pointed out cause many non-christians who dont have the Bible dont understand the consequence of sin.
