whats really interesing about this program is that it could go for a lot of money if someone happened to incorpirate the idea onto a console in the same way guitar hero was...

the difference about this program though, is that unlike guitar hero it would actually teach you the song.

On the downside, PianoHero sounds lame. KeyboardHero.. lame. okay, so im obviously not gunna be the title person, but yeah that invention  would rock.

@TheAmvProject KeyboardHero would be a cool idea. It probably wouldn't involve actually playing though. Playing the actual keyboard notes in real time wouldn't be much of a video game, unfortunately—the reason Guitar Hero is so fun is that you can pretend you are playing guitar/drums/bass/whatever without actually needing the skills (5 buttons is hardly equivalent to the 6 strings and 17, 21, 22, or 24 frets of a guitar). But it would be an awesome game.

@Dylnuge I quite thoroughly agree, guitar hero, something quick easy and enjoyable by most as it appeals to a fairly broad spectrum of genre's i mean not REALLY but chances are you'll like atleast one song on there (I'm bulls on parade) But no you're right the idea of having to actually play it might even put people off, they may see it more as a "learn to play piano quick and easy!" obviously geared at the wrong audience. Maybe they could remove half of the keys in a similar fashion haha.

You need a keyboard with a MIDI IN and OUT socket (must have both) it should be a round socket with 5 pin holes in a half circle.

If your keyboard does come with them plug holes then you can get a MIDI to USB adapter, which will alloy you to hook your keyboard to your PC, thats how you use your keyboard with this software. You play along and it scores you, its like a dancing game at a Arcade.... MIDI to USB cost upto the £35 mark but you need to shop around..... Hope this helps.....
