99% of people will attack you, your image, your character, your reputation, your background, etc when you express an idea or concept that is SO complete and total that they can't respond to it. They'll attack the messenger and dismiss the message. This has always disabled me ever since I was a child. The reason I admire Camille Paglia is that she's developed a way to fire back. She can respond, not react, in real time.

Yeah, but not to the same degree! A recent British survey revealed that 75 percent of gay male couples have open relationships. Female friends are always exasperated at the horniness of guys. There IS a schism.
