@golddawg78 Apparently we didn't meet the magic mystery number Netflix requires to accept a film. They've really slowed down taking independent titles because of the economy I think. They have to pay for copies of the films and it must add up. They must've made it much harder to get on, because we've seen quite a many horribly craftless films on instant play, sirs and madams. Maybe in the future we can get this cleared up.
@sequentialpictures I enjoyed it very much! It was even better than I expected. I really liked the guys friend. He was very funny. Interesting concept, well executed. hope you can continue making films as a director in the future buddy!
@sequentialpictures Definitely. My assumption is guy's like you that go out and work their asses off to get their name out there, and produce good content will have a better chance than film school kids like the ones i know that are riding on their parents pocket books and don't really have vision worth shit. I wouldn't group myself with them, though because i'm paying for my education, and producing my own content on the side; networking and all that. You have my support.
@shippem We definitely hope that to be the case. Even though I have worked my ass off over the last decade, unfortunately, that doesn't always translate into being successful -[and I use "success" in this sentence to mean acceptance by the larger film community in CA and NY.] We're actually thinking about tripping out to L.A. soon to try and get some roots there.
@shippem Where are you right now. I'm rooting in the New York community right now. I've worked on some commercials and graduate student films. Also got into the animation sector with Bill Plympton and David Levy. Perhaps our paths may cross in the future if i get some connections for you.
@sequentialpictures Copy of the DVD arrived today. Just watched the whole film with a friend, and I have to say, it was great (As expected). We both loved it, great story, lots of god laughs, and good tension. The subplot with Mexico was genius too. XD

Looks interesting, although the title doesn't make sense if you're outside the US as it's pronounced "e ran"
