He is so brave for appearing there in his natural state, it's bringing tears to my eyes. I wish more people would do that so that people with these illnesses wouldn't feel the need to hide it so much. It's no different than breaking a leg, nobody feels you should hide that. They can't help being sick. My grandmother has this disease, and it has taken her from us much sooner than it should have, despite that she still lives. I'm so glad that he's fighting his well, and has a lovely family.

Read his autobiographies - he says that she virtually saved his life during his darkest years when he was drinking and/or despondent (although many sessions with a therapist also helped). According to his books, which seem very believable to me, he and Tracy have loved each other deeply and honestly for many years (I think at least 20).

@sugarrush777 you know one of my students is a brain surgeon. he told me that in the States now they have a pretty nice new remedy for it -i don't know the small details but it's involves a bacterial implant in the brain that kind of spews out natural dopamine neutrons. Has to go through all that legislation and stuff before it's circulated but he was pretty ecstatic talking about it to me, saying it was kind of a miracle cure.

Have hope they're pretty close.

He is such a trooper, more than that even, a huge heart spanning the size of the universe and the strength to get up everyday and lead the fight for research in stemcells, not just for his disorder but for many others.
