jag funderar på att skaffa longboard. Vilken sort av longboard tror du passar mig bäst om jag ska åka på både stora vägar och i staden? cruiser eller downhill? vilken svänger bäst? (: jag är från sverige så jag gissade att du fattar vad jag skriver :P

@aaduvet Hei. Spørs jo hva du skal bruke det til som du sier. Men altså det finnes mange allround brett, så må du spørre deg selv om du ønsker et flexy brett, typ det jeg bruker på den filmen, eller et stivt brett. og så om du ønsker drop-thru eller topmounted, eller dropped (som også kan være drop-thru). altså mange valg man KAN ta. Men jeg anbefaler å sjekke ut din lokale longboardbutikk om du har mulighet, Test noe der. Så blir det lettere for deg å bestemme deg selv. ;)

@aaduvet kolla in original skateboards, dom har lätt bäst brädor, finns en underbar cruiser som också passar bra till downhill. Den heter malakai 40, du kommer säkert att älska truckarna, helt fantastiska :)

i want a longboard too and i was looking at the Gravity Hyper Carve since it's cheap but when i look at this board (which is bit smaller) makes me wanna buy this (still like 70euro more expensive)

What are bushings? ... Can't get it translated to something I recognize. I too am a longboarder. I also go cruising and stuff, but I also like to get speed. I got a Slipstream board, with Sector Nine Wheels 76mm/75a, and they are realy good for carving and cruising. And nice vid by the way

Well the term used is Bushings.. the little rubbery rings inside your trucks.. I'm using Venom Bushings at the moment.. Slipstream are nice boards.. ;) Enjoy carving and bombing some hills! ;)

On a Fibreflex that looks like a nice setup. You can't get wrong with Randal Trucks..

So what type of longboard deck are you thinkin' on buying?

i was actually thinking of making a longboard deck i know it sounds stupid but my woodshop teacher wants to make one too so why not but i have been looking for a good but cheap board what whould you reccomend

Well...I'm saying: It's not a bad idea making your own board:) I have got a 47'' sector 9 pintail with revenge2 trucks and 72mm75a sector 9 wheels. I thougt it was a little bit to long, so i made a (ca.)43'' board of pine with almost the same dimentions exept with a fishtail. I'm using some old gullwing trucks from 1978 and 61mm75a wheels on it. Now my sector 9 is collecting dust, and my pineproject is turning heads :) homemade and old school baby:) give it a try!!!
