@Hitsumanu YEP, I know that he grew up in Germany. I am Serbian, but live in Canada, so when I learned French here, for instance, my accent was an English (Canadian) one, not Serbian. I find it interesting... I started learning German, and my German accent is with Serbian tones, not English! I just find it fascinating :).
