  • I love it, I cant stop slapping my knee and stompin my foot!

  • Great music but im afraid evolution is why we are here, not God.

  • The "Joy of the Lord" exudes from this family.

  • Thank you Lord for this beautiful family.

  • the song is ruined at the end by the old dude saying thank you music lovers for the thunderous applause. It cheapens the song and the girls look at you like your stupid but are affraid to tell you so i will.Have respect for the music dont poke fun at it and cheapen it with your dumb humor.

  • you guys are the best. keep on singing for the LORD. i listen to your music almost everyday when I come home from work.

  • You bet!!! Love some Gospel!!!

  • FANTASTIC !!!!!

    Much Love ...

    bro. Ernesto ...

  • Great! I went to your link hoping to find your entire play list with the songs you personally play but I couldn't them. Is there a way to get a complete list? I would enjoy more Christian songs from you! Greg

Ac 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Ro 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

  • @biblegreg I think i have about 60 videos on YouTube, several of which are Gospel tunes. I think you can find all of them by going to my channel or by putting banjophil in the search box.

  • sehr schön

  • 10 stars

    thunderous applause!!!

    8^)

  • your daughter is so talented, guitar, violin, good voice, wow, she could be my soulmate (i wish)

  • Amen.

  • Great voices, like your videos mrgreen51,great music.

All the best from North Wales UK.

  • So good!!!!

  • Love the song and the sound! I would like to have the chord progression for guitar if you could respond with it on this post.

    God Bless

    Mack

  • @mack091160 I sent you a message. Basically the chords are the 1, 4, and 5 chords plus the relative minor. I capo on the third fret and play in A position. So I used A, D, and E, along with the relative minor position of F# minor.

  • @mrgreer51

....and as mentioned Mr Greer, you use the Nashville number system. I stumbled across your videos by accident, but I am absolutely crazy about that sound. Have you guys ever recorded?

  • @JurisArcane I don't think I know what the Nashville number system is. I may have to look that one up. We don't have a recording of this song, but we have have recorded a few songs in this configuration.

  • @mrgreer51

From what I can see you already used it. 1, 4, 5 etc. You mentioned the relative minor. In the Nashville number system, the relative minor is a 6m (6 minor). So in the key of C, 1=C, 2=D, 3=E, 4=F, 5=G, 6=A, 7=B. After the chord numbers (1-7), there are a host of variations (like minor, 7th and so forth). For instance, the relative minor of the key of C is A-minor, which is written in Nashville number system as 6m. At any rate, is there a place I can purchase some of your music?

  • Very nice singing, I love it! You are blessed to have such and talented, God loving family. I love to hear your family singing. The singing takes me away for a moment and makes me think back to my past as a child singing at church with my family. This video has lifted me up so much today. Again , God Bless your and your family. Please keep adding videos on YT☺

  • @mtwz71 Thanks. It truly is a joy to sing together. The girls are married now, so we don't get together to sing very often any more. But they are doing well with their lives, so we're satisfied.

  • mrgreer, you & your family are TALENTED! I play guitar, banjo, & learning the fiddle, I'm also a MO boy, just outside of St. Louis. You folks are an inspiration! Thank you! I'm a subscriber! *****

  • @denman1953 Thanks. If you ever get down our way, give me a holler. Maybe we can do some pickin.

  • Wow!! That female trio sound just blasts you on the first note - very nice! Loved it.

What was the name of the CD that you learned it from?

  • @musissionary93 We learned it from The Martins.

  • @musissionary93 I tried to send you a message about the song, but it appears that you have messages blocked. No big deal, really. Just search The Martins.

  • @mrgreer51 ok, thanks!

  • @vonslagle84 I agree! What a wonderfully talented family. I am so glad that I found this set of videos. It is great that there are some folks willing to share of their talents in such a godly way. Mr. Greer (and I am sure his family follows in his footsteps) is gracious in his acceptance of negativity and an excellent witness to those who express disbelief in God. Phil and his wife truly deserve thunderous applause for raising such wonderful children.
