Actually india won the miss world first in 1966- Reita Faria, then in 1994 -Aishwarya Rai in 1997 Diana Hayden in 1999 Yukta Mukhi and in 2000 Priyanka Chopra. And parvathi Omanakuttan was the first runner up in 2008. Sushmita Sen was Miss Universe in 1994 and in 2000 had a hat trick miss world (Priynaka), miss universe(lara datta) and miss Asia Pacific(diya mirza). Guess we have a lot of beautiful indian women out there!!!!
