Its the fault of the people. They're building houses in areas known to go up in flames every year. Wildfires are natural in this areas of Australia (check for the figures). If you want to live in the woods you should go to northern Europe. 1990 people of Duffy protested against 1000 new homes in endangerd areas. No one listened. A lot of those homes burned down now. Fires are necessary for a lot of plants to sprout. Fighting the outbreak of fires creates deserts.

@MillyVanillification Umm, I happen to live there. These homes are near bushland, that is true, but not all the bush goes up every year, WA has controlled burn-offs near residential areas to allow plants to propogate and to prevent massive fires.
This fire is likely from some fucker leaving a campsite fire lit during a total fire ban, or worse.... a delibrate act of arson.
