  • I read somewhere that you need to treat your abs like any other muscle. You wouldn't do 2 sets 150 reps of a light dumbell weight to make your biceps bigger. Use weights to help you train your abs and do something like 5 sets of 15 reps or less. After you grow the muscle, find a fat burning and low calorie diet to help remove the fat covering the now larger abdominal muscles. I think I'll try it.

  • burn fat-build muscle. the concept sounds easy, but its not. i ate a large bfast and lunch, eating a smaller dinner, and drank lots of water, worked out for 1hr every day. some days swimming and other working out in the gym. got hella ripped but then finals and extra homework came, i wasnt able to go to the gym, pluse the extra food from the holidays, i got down to a four pack.

  • You dont get abs in the gym , you earn them in the kitchen through a structured nutritonal program

  • lol just do like 50-150 sit ups at once each day lol it will come eventually you dont need any products hahaha

  • combine, scissor kicks, regular crunches, side crunches and you should start to get definition

  • I guarantee if you do that exercise for 14 days in a row including running for 20mins burn 200calories and lastly eat correctly (no fast food) you will get six packs.

  • Not all types of cardio will burn body fat with equal efficiency. INTERVAL TRAINING is one of the most effective types of cardio as far as fat-burning is concerned.

  • diet + and training. No proper diet, then it is going to take one heck of a time. Get your diet right people and your training will pay you back big time.

  • There is no need to diet. Best way to stay healthy is to eat healthy and exercise. Dont let diets and exercise take over your life. Have fun and dont stress about what diets work and dont because honestly diets can be bad for you. Just eat healthy, have something nice sometimes like a mini mars bar or something once every few days, go for a jog each morning or do some sit ups, squats etc and you will feel fantastic.

    The problem is the fat on top of it...

    No jokes if you can get rid of your belly fat, which means your whole body fat eventually, you ll get nice visible 6 pacs YOU ALWAYS DID HAVE...

    Yeah to get them BIGGER, you need to stress them, weight training is the answer.

  • istiklalcaddesi is right! all you have to do is to get rid of the belly fat with healthy food. I have some friends who haven't done a single ab workout, and have a six pack because they are thin! Cheers istiklalcaddesi!

  • yeah, but if you dont workout, it would be small and barely noticeable either way

  • every body shows you how to get a six pack but no one tells you what diet to follow to get your six pack

  • exactly, the diet is the most important part. There's a book from Prevention titled the "Flat Belly Diet" I just ordered it, maybe that will have something useful.
