...i dont collect these types of figures because of the price but i do collect the toys. The sad thing is that if you buy items online most of the time those items will arrive with damaged packaging or worse. Its a shame those delivery guys dont care about other peoples property. Lucky for me i open my toys. ...
@SteveSabbai Yeah, the lack of respect for other peoples' property is a little bit disappointing, but it all turned out ok. At least the Dewback itself was in good condition. Part of it is FedEx's fault, but Sideshow really needs to improve their shipping packages.
@bigSILVA77 Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. It really is a nice piece. I just wish Sideshow would not have skimped on the shipping box. Other than that, it's damn near perfect.
@kingcynic Yeah, finding a place to put this big guy was a challenge. I ended up putting him on my dresser. Luckily my wife doesn't get mad at my toy collecting, so he is sitting right there in our bed room :)
@1030eev Haha, I wish I could ride it to work. It would save me a lot on gas money..........although it would probably take me a reeeeeally long time to get to the office :)
Nice video, that Dewback is awesome. You cant really tell how big it is on SS website, your video gives a good indication of size. Be nice if you had a separate video of the new DX Sandtrooper too.
@yamata86 Cools, cheers friend. Only when you have time, we are all crazy busy this time of year. Thanks again, the review on the Dewback was really cool.
@tedan628 It really is a nice piece. When you consider what SS is charging for Premium Format figures, this one falls into a very fair price point.
I'm really glad they decided to skip trying to articulate this piece. I really don't like exposed joints, and they would have really been garish on a piece this large.
@FrenzyandLazerbeak Oh man that is too funny. I wish I would have thought of that. I definitely would have done that if it had crossed my mind. That's a hysterical idea.
Awesome review, Yama. If I hadn't already dedicated half my collection room to Sideshow's Jabba's Palace pieces, I'd be tempted to pick this guy up for an incredible Tatooine display. I'm bummed that your box was damaged, but luckily the giant lizard was unscathed. I will say, though, this video has sold me on picking up the Desert Sands Detachment Deluxe Sandtrooper. The inclusion of the magnet fixes my main issue with the previous Sandtrooper figures. And the improved weathering is awesome.
@CrasisStudios Thanks a lot Crasis. Yeah I was pretty bummed when I saw the condition of the box :( I didn't want to belabor the point, on the video though. Thems the breaks I guess. I think you'll like the Sandtrooper. He's a really nice figure. You could take a pic, when you get him, and add him as a chapter photo on the podcast :)
@pwnedbyfishies Thanks! When I was a little kid, in the '70's, it was Star Wars that got me started on collecting. So I will always love Star Wars toys :) I mainly concentrate on 3A figures, but I'll continue to add some Star Wars stuff here and there. I currently have the IG 88 and Boba Fett figures on preorder, so sometime next year I'll do some videos for those too.

@yamata86 ...the fault is 50% FedEx and 50% Sideshow...when i mail stuff i make sure i package it so that it will be able to survive a Tornado :)

I'm blown away by the size, you ain't kidding when you said it will take up a lot of space!
It's a fine looking piece, certainly worthy of joining anyone's Star Wars collection.

@RobotOnLine It isn't quite as cool as the Speederbike that you have, but I really like it. It's a nice iconic piece from Star Wars.
