On the "purity" of wet-folding, that is of course a matter of taste. Yoshizawa seemed to be OK with it and he practically defined 20th-century origami. But you might enjoy John Montroll's work, then: it's all foldable from standard (dry) 10" precut origami paper, and it's all fun to fold. He has many books, available from amazon and the usual places.
It's also worth pointing out that the use of water ("wet-folding", a technique introduced by the greatest origami master Yoshizawa), does not change the "single uncut sheet" aspect -- it's used for rounded shaping, not for cutting or tearing.
Anyone who, like Lucky77s, considers the Holocaust to be "fake" would appear to be sufficiently detached from logic and reality that a rebuttal would be entirely lost on him. Nevertheless, a few minutes of activity with a search engine will turn up the crease patterns for many of my single-sheet creations, as well as videos that show the full folding sequence for several of my designs, which demonstrate clearly that they are indeed from a single uncut sheet.
origami is art it is the only art that dosent take away from it or add to it (most of the time) its just a square or rectangel or any shape
