Actually, this song came out in 1970 (written by Gordon Lightfoot) and this remake is structured from a combination of Disco (from the 70's) and Motown soul (from the 60's and 70's). The girls here in this video are portraying the studio 54 years (from the 70's). There's some modernization in this track ... but other than that you definitely have a point ... there was a lot of great tunes written in the past! Peace Out! : )
