put a cummins 24valve with an allison transmission , i did that with my 78 ford bronco , i get about 26 miles to a gallon cost me about 10g

I got a seventy seven f350 custom super cab costed me 250$ runs good but the floors are rusted out i gas my self out sometimes but i have beat it up and it runs like a beast!!! but its my redneck wrecker!!!!

it doesnt matter if their made with round or rectangular headlights. all the 73-79 ford trucks were built the same but just with a different look you could put the grill and headlights from a 76 on a 78 and it would fit perfectly because once again they are made the same way but just with a different look!

actually it is a 78 1/2 model. The beginning of 78 model yr. they had the round headlights and then ford went with a redesign in the mid of that model year and went with the square headlights.

with these trucks you can never rely on the headlights/grill cause they are changed so often by the owners,,my truck has had 4 different grill configurations and its a early 77 haha

I wasn't ranting on anyone shit head, and sorry if I spelled one damn word wrong. By the way to your new comment, you're wrong. The 78 and 79 model are both known for their rectangular headlights. That's an F-250 Ranger i'll have you know, it's most definitley a 3/4 ton.

Thing is clean. Any cancer or rust? All you need now is a lift and some mt's. Put some soap on those belts.

A little of both. The front cab and engine area is extremely clean considering nothing's been restored, just taken care of. The bed however is another story. Rear wheel wells need replaced (the aluminum trim fell off!) The back wall needs replaced, floor needs replaced, tailgate....pretty much the whole bed. The inside sides are okay, just dinged up alot. I'm not sure if I'll get a whole new bed, or a lot of steel panels and learn to weld!!

The bed floor & crossmembers and wheel wells are shot. The rest of it is pretty good though.

Dude, there's nothing special about the engine. The original 351m was replaced by a 400 out of a 74 LTD (Not only more cubes, but higher compression because of older emmision standards)

But it's still all stock, dirty and greasy...

Course, I probably should've shown/blown the air horns under the hood. And I'm not talking the kind you buy at Autozone... :-)
