Talked to you a long time ago about this exhaust on F-150 online. Ended up buying it from the people you told me about(great deal). Put it on my 00' 5.4L 4x4. At first it was a little to quiet. But over a year or so now, and it sounds great. I get a lot of compliments. Anyways thanks for the hook up.
Like I probably mentioned I really wanted the Maganflow but for the price you can't go wrong on this one. When I did this video the exhaust was only a couple hours old and yes mine is much louder now as well (maybe time for a new video). I had it on the dyno a few months ago and I couldn't believe how loud it was actually. Did make the numbers I would have liked but I made about 10-15 more rwhp than the dyno shop thought I would make. A/F was on the lean side as well. Glad you like the exhaust..
hey i got a question how much was the cat-back exhaust and where did you buy it from? i checked for a lightning style one for my 4.6L and they are all like $850 bucks!!! i'm looking more of 200-300 dollar range max
magnaflow is really nice on f150s, i used to have one and loved it, from the day i got it to 100 thousand kms down the road. i havent heard another muffler that compares, its straight thru design, but doesnt sound like a glasspack and not like a muffler...its a sound filter!
It was made by Borla for Ford Racing. I don't even remember now but pretty sure I got it for around $300. Go to Ford Racing, F150, Exhaust. List price is $600-$800.
I wish it was a 5 speed. Those are hard to find, I test drove one but it was really beat. Then after I had mine for about a 18 months I found a 2001-2002 that was exactly like mine. Thought about trading in but just didn't seem worth it as I already had some things done to the truck.
i got it for 6000 bucks paid cash in miami ive had it for a couple of years now but i keep putting things into it couse amma keep it for when i graduate nd i want it to look nice and sound good but now im just tryng to save gas i put in a K&n filter and it works really good and sounds even stronger
Well the video was taken the day it was put on. It has gotten louder since but still is a lot louder than stock. I would have gone with a Magnaflow but this was 1/2 the price.
LOL get her louder! I really like this set-up, but I think she could use a bit more bark!! HAH is that a tripod I see set-up in the background reflecting off the tip?? Nice truck and exhaust, gut the cats to give it some extra bark bro!
sounds greattt!!!

Damn, Borlas sound good. I used to have dual flowmasters on my 02 f150 but just recently switched and redid the entire exhaust. Loud!
