Been over a month since I posted this clip of my accident, for personal reasons my own my family nor friends didn't take any video or pictures but I too looked like you did! From 7 broken ribs, a ruptured spleen, a bruised liver, a torn bowel & two punctured lungs, I too received the same life altering one. A closed, head TBI!! & like u I also had the incision in my head but also had a hole drilled in my skull. This hole vented inter cranial brain pressure!

Hi Ms.Bernadette. I'm a college student, Rehabilitation Services Major and I'm taking Traumatic Brain Injury which is a required course for my major. I came across your video because I'm doing a presentation in class about TBI and honestly I'm really touched with Mike's story and i wish him speedy recovery. Watching this and seeing the effort he's making makes me very proud of him and i pray for his recovery.

Hi Bernadette, I was shocked when I saw the date of his accident. My son had a traumatic brain injury on May 21st of 2003.  I can never ever forget, I still look for other peoples stories who have gone through the same thing. When my son woke up from the coma, he was, literally, and infant. He had to learn everything all over again. He is 95 percent fully recovered. God Bless.

Thanks for watching. Mike is getting better every day...He has graduated from a wheelchair to a walker! we are hopeful that he will recover enough to be on his own eventually.
